Greetings steemians, am glad being part of this task about block explorer. I have read and understand the lecture. Below is my homework post for task 4.
WHAT IS A BLOCK EXPLORER?
Block explorer is a program, whereby all cryptocurrencies transactions are explored. It shows how transactions are moving in a particular block. Furthermore, it is a tool that is use to view every transaction that occurred on thr blockchain( both current and past transactions ). Block explorer also can be used to record or detect transaction histories.
AND WHAT IS IT'S PURPOSE AND USE?
The purpose of blockchain explorer is to use to view current transactions or previous transactions. Let's take for example, when a miner finds or mine a recent bitcoin block, the work of block explorer is to record it immediately the block appears on the system i.e new mined blocks and transactions can be explored making use of block explorer. It also used to scan or survey transaction histories in any cryptocurrency address.
With block explorer, you can be able to see the first blockchain block which is the genesis block which will studied in task 3. Block explorer allows to view the details of transaction thst are not yet confirmed( details including the hash rate and other informations ), i.e it provides evidence tha you have successfully transferred a particular token to the person you wants to transfer it to. With block explorer we can be able to know the latest or recent rate of a particular transaction.
SEARCH FOR DIFFERENT CRYPTOCURRENCY BLOCK EXPLORER AND LIST THEM BELOW. ATLEAST FIVE DIFFERENT CRYPTOCURRENCY.
We have multiple block explorers and am going to list five among them. To view cryptocurrency block explorer, you can visit coinmarketcap select any cryptocurrency and you can be able to view the block explorer.

STEP 1
Get your browser ready, search on steem coin block explorer. On the page that will display, you will find different site on it. Now am going to make use of thr first option.
STEP 2
After the site have been displayed, and click on the first option which is https://steemblockexplorer.com/ . the homepage will display. Also, the home page shows the current price of steem coins, Steem dollars and other as shown on the screenshot below.
STEP 3
To explorer my account details, there a search space bar provided in the homepage. All i have to do is to type in my steem username and click on search to explorer my details. See screenshot below.
STEP 4
By clicking on the search button, it will display all the transaction i have made, both current and previous transaction. I then clicked on hash tage, at the right side of the page and copied it. See screemshot below

Open steemscan, on the search column above, paste the hash you copied in order to explore your transaction details. Screenshot below.
IN CONCLUSION
Using block explorer is something amazing and very useful, because is very easy to check transaction that is going on in a particular block especially for confirming transaction very fast, than that of bank , one will need to go to the bank to chevk if a particular transaction went successful. I really wnat to thank professor @yousafharoonkhan for a well detailed lecture.
