Decentralized application in short form is known a dApps. It is an application that requires or imply various system of application through other centralized application which has a central operators controlling them. Decentralized application are just like normal apps we use on our phone, and also perform almost the same task. But in decentralized application, it goes or work with p2p[peer to peer] method, as blockchain also work with p2p. It is not been control by third party like bank. In dapps, all the information are being record in public and to secure the newtork, it has to make use of cryptographic asset. Dapps are decentralized application that run on blockchain and make use of peer to peer system.
Furthermore, dapps are very essential in ghe world of blockchain, when er discussing about dapps, it is a decentralized network, which need to be open-source, being open source simply means that anybody in the blockchain can be able to see or view the source code, i.e anything that is hiding inside the source can be seen by anyone. When we talk about close source, dapps are totally different because, in close source, the creator can make some changes in the app, so nobody will know what is in it and how it happened. But in dapps, it need to be open source and also it have to be working on its own and no third party will be involved to delay or tamper the network.
Basically, Dapps runs through a decentralized method which is via peer to peer (p2p) network, which can be established on mobile phone or website. Lets look at some things that make dapps unique or numerous.÷
In Dapps system, they don't depend on a type of system that when stop working, it will stop the whole system to work. For example when you see instagram or facebook not working, due to network or experience downtime, dapps are totally free from those problems. In distributed network which are NODES is where all the projects are accomplished, meanwhile all the information carried out have to run on the blockchain network. As i said earlier, dapps makes use of open-source, where users can view anything and also give you confidence / safe-keeping in your app.
When talking about privacy and personal data or information, dapps also provide superior privacy, since people that created dapps don't have any access to users are controll of their own information.

ADVANTAGES
Dapps have a higher security, as it run through blockchain network, which can be very hard for hackers to tamper, because information are not stock or reserve in a single crumble place.
Dapps secures users informations, more than decentralized application.
Another advantage of Dapps is taht, users are able to view or see how the code is going on.
Transactions are very fast and at the same time have low transaction fee.
DISADVANTAGES
In dapps, if user aren't careful with transaction and then send something in a wrong address, it is totally lost because, transactions are irreversible.
Though Dapps can be slow in network, because it have to run or go through each node, this can make it slower.
Dapps can be very difficult to operate by people who have low technical experience.
Dapps can be promoted in differents ways such as÷
Let's say, it can be promoted through social media like Instagram, Twitter or even Facebook. We all know that there are much population on social media, so i guess that will also be a best way for dapps developers to promote their app. It will be visible to many people on above social media apps mentioned.
Also, having a standard system that is working fine and smoothly without any issue. This can also improve or make users to be more interested in it.
Running ads on different platform is another good idea to promote your app. Ads can be run on videos, this can make people know about it.
There are things we should pay attention to when using dapps- those things are÷
We shoulf pay attention to the dapps activities i.e the operations going through that particular dapps and be sure if it's legit or not. Do researchs about the dapps you arr using- this will help you know if it's legit.
We should be very careful when running transactions on dapps and ensure we put the correct address in the space provided, because once sent, the transaction can not be reversed.
Also we should store our keys in a safe place, maybe save it as draft on Email, because, once you misplace the keys, it's gone and can't be retrieved.
To find all information about any type of dapp wish to view, we have to first of all explore https://dappradar.com/ this is site that gives you all data or information about a particular dapp.
The next step to take is to search for thr dapps in which you want to know all information about it. To do, click the button at the top right of the page, then you will see a search space, type in the dapp you want to search.
Now, i want to get the information about justlend, i will have to type in justlend and click on the search symbol. Then it display.
Then i click on Justlend that appeared on the page, it will display all information about it. See screenshot below
