How are you doing today. I am sure you are doing great. Indeed I am very much that our Steemit Engagement Challenge Contest Season 3 is back with a brand new style. Today in this post that you are about to read through is my entry base on the questions given in SteemitCryptoAcademy Community. Let's take a look at what I have presented.

Define your understanding of the Metaverse. What has the Metaverse aimed to achieve? Is Metaverse here fully with us yet?

Today we have been hearing of metaverse technology as the technology of virtual reality where people exist in a digital world. Well to my own understanding, Metaverse is define as a component of differnent technology that is used to make things go virtually and exist in a digital universe. This means that is a technology that allow people all over the world to meet virtually.

In other way round, Metaverse is define as an embodied Internet that allows people from different part of the world to meet by creating an avatar that can represent them. Metaverse is one of the project that has long be proposed by the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg so people can expressed themselves in a virtual environment instead of going out of their environment.

What has the Metaverse aimed to achieve?

The aimed of Metaverse is to create a better collaborative space where people all over the world can buy virtual goods for themselves and in turn own some part of the brand of the company that produce the virtual goods.

Also, another aimed of Metaverse is to create a virtual community where people can work, play and get to interact with each other within the virtual community by allowing people to enjoy most of the things that they cannot enjoy in real life.

Is Metaverse here fully with us yet?

Metaverse is not yet fully with us as it hasn't come into full existence yet. However, serious works is in progress for metaverse to be fully with us but as for now the only things that we can be doing in metaverse community are attending to virtual meeting, concerts, buying of digital goods, creating of artwork, playing games and catching fun for the main time.

As at October 2021 and even earlier this month Mark Zuckerberg has make it publicly on Facebook that metaverse will soon begin that users should get ready for the adoption of the big technology called metaverse where people all round the world can interact and socialize with each other virtually, instead of using the old means of interaction with each other. With this it simply means that metaverse isn't here fully with us yet.

State the technologies that can be utilized to achieve Security, Ownership, and others in the Metaverse. In your own words, how are the technologies going to be utilized to achieve security and ownership? (Include any components of the technologies that would be of great advantage to the development of Metaverse).

There are basically several types of technologies that can be utilized to achieve security, ownership and others in the Metaverse and the name of some of these technology are stated below:

• Virtual Reality (VR)
• Augmented reality (AR)
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Machine Learning (ML)
• Blockchain an AR cloud
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Spatial technologies and many others.

The use of Virtual Reality (VR) is the technology that will help provide users with a sensory experience in a form that is physical (i.e in representing real life); Agumented Reality (AR) is the technology that is used for implementation of cameras, but VR it seem to be more advanced than AR and it's the reason as to why Metaverse technology want to use the both technology.

As for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine learning (ML), and Internet of things (IoT) there are the components of technology that would facilitate urgent functions such as seamless integrations of users data and limitless interactions between users.

Also Blockchain and AR cloud technology are the two types of technology that will validated value transfer and data storage that occur within a Metaverse which will be specifically handle by blockchain, while AR cloud will enable 3D virtualization of images, merging of virtual and real worlds items and making it possible for users to interact with each other.

Do we have any Gamification developments that look like the Metaverse? Discuss any two protocols and how they work.

Yes, we have Gamification developments that look like the Metaverse and some of these Gamification are;

• Axie Infinity
• Decentraland
• Star Atlas
• TOTEM.Earth

For now, these are the four Gamification developments that look like the Metaverse that is know. Let me explain the first two Gamification developments.

Axie Infinity:

Axie Infinity is one of the most popular Gamification developments that look like metaverse that is developed on the Ethereum blockchain. Axie Infinity is known as a play to earn game where players make use of Pokemon style of NFT creatures that is known as Axies to fight and complete their challenges in exchange for crypto token. SLP and AXS are the two tokens that can be exchanged for Ethereum after playing and wining any game in Axie Infinity.

One good thing about Axie Infinity is that players enjoyed ownership and possession of the games in the platform. And also players can create a community where their can rent and trade Axies for cryptocurrency like Ethereum or for cash and still battle with each other players which makes the games to be even more entertaining as it even make use of Core Drive 4 and Drive 5.

Decentraland

Decentralized is another popular Gamification metaverse game that allows players to won property, trade and operate their property that is basically land. In Decentraland, it's the land that is minted in form of NFT, where players can buy and sell their land property on the marketplace. In this case, there is a native token called MANA which is a token of the Metaverse that can also be use for buying of assets, land property in the game.

Esteban Ordano and Ariel Meilich** are the two notable men that co-founded Decentraland around 2017 of with their both work very hard until in 2020.

What are the Pros and Cons of Metaverse? Do you believe

Whatever has an advantages most equally has it own disadvantages and in that case Metaverse is not exempted from having just and advantages alone. So in this case, let's take a look at the Pros and Coins of Metaverse.

Pro of Metaverse

• It is an innovations both in communication, Education and Communication industry.

• It helps increases the power of blockchain and also promote blockchain technology

• It is a means in developing and promoting the awareness of virtual community

• It is an opportunity for branding of products

• It brings about better means of communication online.

Cons of Metaverse

• It required the use of more advanced digital technologies that are more costly to maintained.

• The issue of users privacy and security is highly at risk

• Is a trait to the way people relates and interacts in real world since there is a virtual means of communication and interaction.

• People will tend to lose the they culture and tradition since their can interact virtually.

Do you believe?

Yes, I am a lover of technology that is driving the world into a new level of which I see Metaverse as one of the newest technology that is going to bring a very big change in our society.

I believe that in few years to come Metaverse will change the way virtual gaming and social media platforms works. There are more reason why I believe in metaverse because I am truly sure that metaverse will enhance the digital identity of an individual, and change the way our works I'd been done in real life.

Metaverse is the newest technology that want to change the way we do interact with each other.Metaverse want almost all the things that we do in real life to be done virtually.
