Crypto Academy Season 4 Beginners' course - Homework Post for Task 1: Tron Ecosystem
Good day beautiful Steemian, I am @hadassah26, welcome to my Steemit crypto academy Beginners course by professor @sapwood on: Tron Ecosystem.
"1a. What is TronLink and what is Tronscan?"
We cannot discuss the Tron link and Tronscan without discussing what brings them into play: The Tron Network and Tron native coin (Trx).
The Torn network developed in the year 2017 by crypto enthusiast Justin Sun, is a "Decentralized" "Blockchain" "Platform". These three highlighted words which can be dissected further, makes Tron Network a place where decentralized apps can be built upon, and more with low cost and a high throughput allowing for inclusion and ease of diversification on the network.
The Tron token (Trx) is the native coin of the Tron network, and an easily exchangeable token on most crypto exchange platform both centralized and decentralized.
The Tronlink is a full noncustodial wallet for the Tron coin, non custodial meaning the owner of the wallet has full control of his tokens and can choose to sell, buy, store etc his tokens as he/she pleases.
The Tronscan, is the blockchain explorer of the Tron network. A block explorer which is a "blockchain" "inspector" is used to view all transactions going on a blockchain.
"1b. What are their uses?"
From checking the authenticity of wallet addresses, transaction status and timestamp, network fees, sender and receiver addresses, and wallet balances.
Apart from the above major uses of the Tron link and the Tronscan, the Tronlink also allows its users to be involved in Governance voting, and is also a good platform for decentralized apps development.
The Tronscan also apart from having regular blockchain features can also be used for token creation, governance voting and smart contract development. Etc.
"1c. How do you verify a transaction status(including timestamp, resource consumption(bandwidth & energy), nos of confirmations) using Tronscan"
To verify a transaction status on the Tronscan, we first go to tronscan.org screenshot below:
We can now check for a transaction using the transaction id:
Searched for the transaction id, on the Tronscan, we are now taken to an overview page, where we can see the:
1. Timestamp
2. Resource Consumption
3. Number of confirmations
"1d. What are the different dApps can you explore using the TronLink wallet?"
On the tronlink wallet, we can see so many decentralized apps such as:
• Sun dapp:
• Justlend dapp:
• Justswap dapp
• Just dapp:
• Poloni Dex dapp
• Tronscan dapp
• Tronlending dapp
• Chains Arena dapp
• Bankroll dapp
"1e. Make a transaction(a micro-transaction) with Justswap or JustLend using TronLink wallet?Screenshot?"
Discuss justlend;
To make a transaction on justlend, we first of all click on the Justlend app on our tron link wallet, or go to www.justlend.io
Now on the justlend page, we enter our amount of tron we will be converting to USDT, enter our recepient address, then connect to our wallet
We select the token we want to convert to,
Then we fill the recipient address,
Now we can link our tronlink wallet,
And here we can confirm transactions and send.
The tron network allows developers to easily create great decentralized apps on its platform, while also making transactions with the tron token cheap and lightning fast.
Decentralized apps on the tron network such as the Justswapp lets users seamlessly swap their tron to other currencies such as USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, etc…
Tron is currently priced at $0.10354 and the USDT a partner token is stable though a little above 1 USD at $1.001.
Thanks
