Steemit Crypto Academy - Feedback

I didn't even look at the Academy until around the third season and it was great. I must say that eventually it was saturated with all kind of ideas on TA that frankly were just about borderline crazy. Still it was ok to read about them and try to understand what is the thinking behind them. Personally I think TA sucks, if it was so good all the professors and the people who follow these techniques would be rich by now.

But that is irrelevant, what I really think is responsible for less people being involved not only on SCA but on Steemit was the 50/50, 75 and 100 clubs. You see what is being done here can be classified as coercion and that is what most people who look for alternative social media are running away from, the centralized, coercive form of mainstream social media. Now I do not know in what financial situation Steemit is, but if you have to resort to coercion it must be pretty bad.

Now the idea in itself is not bad, by all means give extra rewards to all people who do power ups of the percentages you want, but it must be willingly. I think you miss out on something, a lot of the people who interact daily on Steemit are from third world countries, they actually need to withdraw a part of what they earn on Steemit to make ends meet, having to come up with 150 Steem to just participate in SCA is not feasible for them, and then they can't even withdraw money, this is crazy.

You do have to come up with better ideas than these, or else people will leave and you will be left with just the handful of people who have the means to comply with these rules, and a social media without people is not a social media. I powered down all my Steem, so I am not looking for a vote I just am giving my opinion.
