Steemit Crypto Academy - Summary & Feedback By @faizanwrites07
Hello (Hola) to you all fellow steemians. First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to steemitblog for giving us the opportunity to share our feedback regarding our SteemitCryptoacademy community. It is really an honor for every student studying here and learning each season with so many talented and skillful teachers sharing their wonderful knowledge with us.
I joined the SteemitCryptoacademy community in its second season and was a regular student of so many professors till its fourth season. During the whole journey, I was able to take some valuable lectures from our respected professors such as @yousafharoonkhan @yohan2on @alphafix @imagen etc and learned a lot about crypto currencies, decentralized blockchain, etc. I am so thankful to all of my Professors for teaching me so much about crypto and related field, honestly speaking I was a newbie to this whole thing and they have taught me as much as they could and I hope I'll learn more in the future InshaAllah.
Now, I will try to give my feedback regarding the academy as per the asked questions by steemitblog.
What worked well with the Academy?
This is a very good question about the academy but it's the answer is so simple because almost everything worked well with the academy till now other than just a short lag which I will answer in the next questions. This academy is a very great initiative about giving knowledge to the people around the world about Crypto and the students get the opportunity to learn as well earn through their submitted assignments if they achieve the passing level of the assignments, which is a very amazing thing for every student out there.
After that, I would love to appreciate the efforts of our professors here. They really provided us with the best and quality lessons and tried their best to teach us as much as they can about their fields.
For me, the Learn and Earn plus the best Professors were the factors that worked well with the academy along with the efforts of steemitblog to give us valuable information every week every season.
What did not work well?
There was nothing that did not work well till the fourth season, but in the fifth season the rule regarding powering up at least 150 steems in the last month was a challenging part for me and I am sure there will be other people too. And this is the main reason, I could not take part in the fourth season because I could only manage to power up 30-40 steems that time so I was not eligible to submit my assignments. And that is how I wrote assignments but could not submit them at that time as I was not eligible to do so.
Therefore, This is the only thing I would say did not work well with the academy till now.
How you would improve the Academy, What changes would you make for future seasons of the Academy?
The academy is really growing with so much positivity that there are no points remaining to be improved to make the academy better, but I would like to add just a single point, which may make it better, such as;
- First, the powering up option shall prevail as the academy shall grow and it is better for all of us that our academy is well grown in the SP level but there are students and newcomers who do not achieve the level to power up that much such as 150 in their first go, so I would recommend that the minimum requirement shall be reduced to the possible low point till all of our fellows are able to go up to the required limit.
What did you think of the marking scheme for Academy posts? And the rewards available?
The marking scheme is up to the level required for the academy, and I am very satisfied with the academy marking scheme. And yes there is the difference that which teacher or professor we are writing to and how they check and grade each student because every professor is different from each other and they make their own assessments according to their knowledge and their level of understanding the assignments as there are some other language speakers and writers than English.
You can also tell us what you enjoyed most, and what you learned from the Academy?
I enjoyed every lesson I get from the academy and all the assignments submitted to each professors. Because This academy is where I got my 99% understanding of the crypto world. I would appreciate every step taken and every lesson taught in the academy till now by all the professors and supporters such as the curators. so a Big Thank you to you all!
Has the Academy inspired you to continue learning more about crypto subjects? If so, how and where have you extended your crypto learning?
Obviously, the academy has inspired me to continue learning more about crypto subjects and knowledge. I hope I will learn more and more in the upcoming season from this academy as the coming future is all about crypto and soon the world will be following the crypto and will be using it in our daily life.
I have learned a lot from here and now extended to learn and trade in some crypto supporting trade applications/websites such as;
- Binance
- Youtube
- Facebook groups of Crypto
- joining crypto friends circles
Has the Academy inspired you to start trading in cryptocurrencies? If so, which ones?
Yes, the academy did inspire me to start trading in Cryptocurrencies but unfortunately, I was not able to do so till now, I hope I will start very soon InshaAllah. Because my friends do trade in cryptocurrencies, they are very happy with their investments. I would start trading in less expensive coins and tokens at first but my target would be to grab some Bitcoins once I get better trading in there.
