Steemit Crypto Academy Contest Season 7 Week 1 [Summary] - Prepare a step-by-step Guide for at least one way to buy STEEM in your Country
Introduction
Dear, community members. We are into the 2nd week of Season 7 of the Steemit engagement challenge. Thanks to everyone who participated in the first week and we urge you to participate in the running contest organized in our community - Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S7W2 - Relive Your Top Moments of the Year 2022 (about your crypto trading experience). We would be taking a look at the summary for week 1 in this article.
For the 1st week of season 7, the contest organized was all about the discussion about crypto adoption and the popularity of STEEM in users' countries and most importantly preparing a guide on at least one way the asset can be bought in different regions of the world.
We received some good entries into the contest where users prepared guides on how STEEM can be purchased in their countries, most of the methods shared are about centralized exchanges like Binance, Orinoco, ByBit, Roqqu, BitStamp, Bitavo, and so on. This shows that centralized exchanges seem to be the best way to buy STEEM at the moment while users also added new methods of purchasing the asset they would like to see in their countries.
Statistics of the Participation
A total of 27 entries were received throughout the contest window with no record of plagiarism but 4 entries were marked invalid. The reasons for marking these entries as invalid are:
Unverified users.
Long-time inactive users coming out of total power down.
Identified farming account.

Top 3 Users for the Week
The first factor we embraced in the selection process is the quality of performance of the participants then followed by their interactions with other users in the contest. But not all content that has scored higher marks makes it to the top 3, some reasons for the selection and exclusion of some content are:
Selection based on merits in terms of high scores and interactions.
Selection based on high scores and moderate interaction.
Elimination of high scorers based on no record of interaction in the contest.
Elimination of high scorers based on spun interaction.
Having considered this, our top 3 users for week 1 are shown in the table below.
