Steemit Crypto Academy Contest Season 6 Week 3 [Summary] - Tokenomics in the Crypto Ecosystem
Introduction
Dear, community members. We are into the 4th week of Season 6 of the Steemit engagement challenge. Appreciation to everyone that participated in our week 3 and we urge you to participate in the running contest organized in our community - Season 6 Week 4 - Internet of Things and the Blockchain. Let's take a look at the summary for the 3rd week.
For the 3rd week of season 6, we have organized a contest that is centered on an important concept in the crypto ecosystem which is all about Tokenomics. Tokenomics simply means the economics of a Crypto asset and this is taken care of at the inception of the project.
Tokenomics is one of the ways projects utilize to attract investors to their project and at the same time, it allows investors to measure some important parts of a project and how safe it would be to invest in the asset. Some of the components of tokenomics are supply, token distribution, utility, scheduled burn, staking rewards, static rewards (for holding) and so on.

A total of 12 entries were received throughout the contest window, no record of plagiarism but two entries were found to be invalid. In essence, the users whose articles were marked as invalid doesn't belong to any club.

Performance Distribution
For the week, we had two articles that made it to the excellent realm taking a 17% of the total entries, the dominating grade in the contest fell under the very good category with a total of 58%, invalid category took 17% space and 8% belongs to good content in the contest.

The first factor we embraced in the selection process is the quality of performance of the participants then followed by their interactions with other users in the contest.
For the top 3 participants' selection, we utilized performance by grade and interaction for some selections while a special selection was given to an article that produced great content about the topic of discussion. Below are the top 3 users we have selected for the week.
