It's now Season 6 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge and we believe you are so excited and ready to participate with us once again. We solemnly welcome y'all into the new season and we bring to you our contest for the first week. We hope you will all love it

The Blockchain Revolution

Crypto currency started with Bitcoin Technology and this have brought alot of changes in to the digital economy because the technology behind it is ingeniously simple because it's revolution­ary protocol always enables transactions to be simultaneously anonymous and secure hence maintaining a tamperproof public ledger of value making it to be very unique and highly secured.

Blockchain technology is an open distributed and a global platform where it can form a necessary base and change what we do online, who can do it and also who can be able to participate in it because it allows a decentralized autonomous organizations, a decentralized government services, transactions and smart contracts among others

The internet is a place for communication and a beautiful place where people can participate and produce useful things but one major drawback of the internet is the low level of privacy and security. But with the Blockchain technology, there has been an improvement and a revolution of privacy and security because the technology of Blockchain enables peer to peer transactions without necessarily needing a third party like the central, commercial bank or even the government.

Another great thing about Blockchain Revolution is how it have improved on user’s information anonymous because the Blockchain validates and keep all records for all transactions permanently in a Blockchain hence making it to be immutable

Now, this contest is all about Blockchain Revolution and we want to hear about your understanding of the context.

What is Expected in the Contest?

• Explain in your own words how Cryptocurrency have brought a revolution in the digital economy

• How is Cryptocurrency a revolution and which technology is used to run the process of cryptocurrency?

• What is the main purpose of blockchain technology and can this blockchain work without an internet?

• Explain in your own words how blockchain generate cryptocurrency. Is all cryptocurrency based on blockchain? Explain

• Explain some of the challenges face when implementating Blockchain technology

Contest Guidelines

• Post your articles in the Steemit Crypto Academy community. The participation time is between Monday, November 21st, 2022, 00:00 UTC to Sunday, November 27th, 2022, 23:59 UTC.

• The article should be at a minimum of 500 words. You can write more. Your article must be free of any form of plagiarism.

• Your article title should be Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S6W1 - The Blockchain Revolution. Add the tag #cryptoacademy-s6w1 and other relevant tags.

• Participants must be appropriately following #club5050 or #club75 or #club100.

• Participants must be verified and active users on the platform.

• The community moderators would be leaving quality assessments on your articles and probable upvotes.

• In addition, your article must get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments to count as valid in the contest, so ensure you interact with other users' entries. Do not be involved in vote-buying.

Rewards

• SC01 would be checking on the entire 7 participating communities and upvoting outstanding content. Upvote is not guaranteed for all articles. Kindly take note.

• At the end of the week, we would nominate top 3 users that had performed well in the contest and they would be eligible for votes from SC01/SC02.

Important Notice: The nomination of the top 3 users in our community is not based on good grades alone, it includes their general engagements (quality and quantity of their interactions with other users' articles) to measure the overall performance.
