Contest Theme - Cryptocurrency Adoption
The cryptocurrency market can not be overlooked and must be considered a part of the financial market. Though there are a lot of sentiments and setbacks affecting the growth of this market which includes its adoption by businesses, regulation by government agencies etc. Currently, the total market of the crypto market is $1.135 trillion which is a little portion compared to the stock market, forex market and commodity market. We understand the crypto market is still developing and has got a lot of potential to be considered as part of the financially traded assets.
Cryptocurrency goes beyond a digital currency for buying and selling with great innovations like DeFi protocols, NFTs, Stablecoins etc. We have major companies like Microsoft, AT&T, Twitch, Starbucks, Etsy, PayPal, Overstock, Whole Foods etc, that have adopted cryptocurrency. Other companies are also gearing up and considering adopting cryptocurrency which we believe will change the narrative of the crypto market and boost the evolving technology.
In this contest, we wish to read your opinion on cryptocurrency adoption by business owners and how it can affect businesses either positively or negatively.
What is expected in the Contest
Discuss the adoption of cryptocurrency in the financial market and how businesses can be boosted through cryptocurrency transactions.
What is your opinion on cryptocurrency being accepted globally for our day-to-day transactions.
Do you think the high volatile nature of the crypto market is a concern to business owners? Discuss.
What other factors are currently limiting the adoption of cryptocurrency and how can this be solved?
Discuss the Pros and Cons of cryptocurrency adoption by business owners.
Contest Guidelines
- Post your articles in the Steemit Crypto Academy community. The participation time is between Monday, 13th June, 2022, 00:00 UTC to Sunday, June 19th, 2022, 23:59 UTC .
- The article should be at minimum 500 words. You can write more. Your article must be free of any form of plagiarism.
- Your article title should be Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S2W2 – Cryptocurrency Adoption by @username. Add the tag #cryptoacademy-s2w2 and other relevant tags.
- Your article must get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments. Do not be involved in vote buying.
- The community moderators would be leaving quality assessments on your articles and probable upvotes.
Rewards
- SC01 would be checking on the entire 7 participating communities and upvoting outstanding content. Upvote is not guaranteed for all articles. Kindly take note.
- At the end of the week/month, we would nominate top 3 users to be compared with other participants in other communities for a probable win for the week/month.
Other things to know about the Challenge
Weekly Winners
- Users to be considered for the weekly winners must have joined 7 contests across all the participating communities in 7 days.
- One entry per day, posted before/at 23:59 UTC of each day. And must conform to all rules, also as specified in the contest hosted by each community.
- The articles must have an average number of ≥ 50 upvotes and ≥ 10 comments.
- Users must be following at least #club5050 / #club75 / #club100. #club75 and #club100 users have a higher percentage of winning.
- Top 1, Top 2 and Top 3 gets 30%, 25% and 20% upvote respectively from SC01.
Monthly Winners
- Users to be considered for the monthly winners must have at least 28 entries throughout the month.
- One entry per day, posted before/at 23:59 UTC of each day. And must conform to all rules, also as specified in the contest hosted by each community.
- The articles must have an average number of ≥ 50 upvotes and ≥ 10 comments.
- Users must be following at least #club5050 / #club75 / #club100. #club75 and #club100 users have a higher percentage of winning.
- Top 1, Top 2 and Top 3 gets 100%, 75% and 50% upvote respectively from SC01.
Conclusion

This contest is very interesting. I think the volatility nature of cryptocurrencies will have positive and negative effects on business owners!
