This week, we are going to focus on the process of voting and curation in steem blockchain, and we want to read your participations.

What are Steem Voting and Curation ?

Social networks that offer rewards for a single click become user favourites. Steem it is a network that rewards its users with STEEM, a dollar-backed cryptocurrency, for sharing their facts and information.

You can get tokens by commenting on posts generated by Steem it. It also rewards their user with a curation reward for upvoting the post. You can earn STEEM on the Steem it platform in other ways.

You can earn money by writing your blog with informative articles. The more informative your articles are, the more users you trac and you STEEM accordingly. However, it can generate more rewards.

What is Expected in the Contest?

Explain in your own words what voting and curating mean for content in Steem, do they mean the same thing? Show the difference between the two terms.
If we vote a content before 5 minutes or after 6 days 12 hours of its age in Steem Blockchain, will we have the same amount of reward as the other periods? Show how one checks the reward amount of a post that has returned to Steem Blockchain's reward pool?
How can a curator earn more than 100% upvote value as curation rewards? Take any post you voted in Steem Blockchain and indicate the time and position of your vote, what is the projected curation reward?
What is the role of curation in better content discovery in Steem Blockchain? Is self-voting beneficial for the reward system explain why?

Contest Guidelines

Post your articles in the Steemit Crypto Academy community. The participation time is between Monday, May 22th, 2023, 00:00 UTC to Sunday, May 28th, 2023, 23:59 UTC.
The article should be at minimum 500 words. You can write more. Your article must be free of any form of plagiarism.
Your article title should be Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S9W6 - Voting and Curation In Steem Blockchain . Add the tag #cryptoacademy-s9w6 and other relevant tags.
Participants must be appropriately following #club5050 or #club75 or #club100.
Participants must be verified and active users on the platform.
The community moderators would be leaving quality assessments on your articles and probable upvotes.
In addition, your article must get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments to count as valid in the contest, so ensure you interact with other users' entries. Do not be involved in vote-buying.

Rewards

SC01 would be checking on the entire 7 participating communities and upvoting outstanding content. Upvote is not guaranteed for all articles. Kindly take note.

At the end of the week, we would nominate top 3 users that had performed well in the contest and they would be eligible for votes from SC01/SC02.

Important Notice: The nomination of the top 3 users in our community is not based on good grades alone, it includes their general engagements (quality and quantity of their interactions with other users' articles) to measure the overall performance. Also note that generally, you can only make one post per day in the Steemit Engagement Challenge.

Conclusion

When you're not necessarily a blogger or content creator, voting articles or comments is one of the other ways to grow your wallet on Steem. But, please, don't create bots that upvote all your comments or articles unless you want to kill Steem!

¿Qué son la curación y la votación de Steem?
