it is finally great to partake in the academy as it has long been my dream ever since I joined the steemit to learn and earn and I thank the organizers for this opportunity
What is PoB?
sourcethe acronym POB is simply a short form for the phrase proof of brain, it is a system in which people are rewarded based on their ability to create valuable and useful content. this is a system common to the steem community where it uses the proof of brain mechanism as a mining mechanism instead of the usual electricity, placing more value on the human brain rather than some mere computer mining
The aim is to encourage and reward users for their participation, contribution and production of valuable content that is not plagiarised, as the system strongly hates plagiarism. this will encourage users to build their talents,skills an also a motivation knowing you will be rewarded and your efforts are not in vain
What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain?
the word curation in English means the pattern in which good items are selected, organized and arranged and rewarded accordingly
it means no different in the steem blockchain, the curation system in the steem blockchain means to proof-read a write-up, crosscheck for plagiarism and give upvote or reward if the content was found worthy, also there is a downvote that can be given if the post was found unworthy or harmful to reader
the process of reading and rewarding great content is simply called curation
What are the benefits of building SP?
there are so many benefits of building your sp and I will be listing a few below
INFLUENCE POWER: in the steemblock chain, the more steem power you accumulate increases your influence in the community you belong to
MORE TRON: As funny as it may be, the more steem power you accumulate, the more tron you receive per interest
BUILDING THE STEEM COMMUNITY: With the accumulation of steem power, it aids to build the steem blockchain community
CURATION REWARD: The more steem power you have, increases your ability in making more votes in the community which in turn gives you a 50% curation reward
How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?
- I think self upvote is not good as it is an attempt to enforce people to upvote you
- self upvote does not help in the steem community building as both author and curator's reward returns to the author
- It does not show or agrees to the aim of proof of brain as it is meant to be found valuable by others and not you

What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?
there are four(4) major tokens that could be earned by interacting on the steem block chain
STEEM: This is the main token of the steem blockchain, definitely we could imagine that from the name. it is available at different exchange platform and could be converted from one cryptocurrency to another
SBD: The token SBD is the steem dollars that could be traded in the market to yield its equivalent in steem
STEEM POWER: this token is used to enhance the growth of the community, it could be powered down at any time to become steem.
- TRON: The tron token is also among the tokens that could be earned by interacting on the steem block chain and could be used to trade on different exchange platforms
How would you use your TRX earned in Steem Blockchain to optimize earning in Tron ecosystem?
The tron gotten from the steem blockchain for me can be optimized by staking the the tron and waiting for the returns, also the tron can be traded into other coins on the exchange platforms
CONCLUSION
it was a great assignment if I must confess, I learnt a lot as a newbie and I also explored the coinmarketcap website and learnt about the steem ranking and other features listed on the website about the steem
I feel the steem blockchain is the future and it should be totally harnessed by the world
