Cryptocurrency is no stranger to the digital age, be it adults or elderly people. Cryptocurrency is a digital currency. Storing Cryptocurrency assets has become an attraction for all groups at this time. Cryptocurrency has been around for a long time and since 2013 has received attention from the public. Until now Cryptocurrency is still the talk of many people, both the pros and cons. On this occasion I try to take part in the Challenge held by @crypto-academy or can be seen here Steemit Crypto Academy Contest Season 3 Week 2 - My Experience Investing in the Crypto Market.

Discuss your first experience investing in the crypto market

Talking about my first experience investing in the Crypto market, it started when I joined Steemit. Where are the curated results I got in my steemit? Investment in the crypto market, namely in the Bittrex and Poloniex markets. Since joining Steemit in early 2017, I have invested by storing assets in Bitrrex and Poloniex. Not all the assets that I get in steemit I invest, some of it I disburse into the form of rupiah.

From the beginning of 2017 until now, I still invest in the Poloniex, Bittrex, Indodax, Upbit and several other markets. Maybe the assets that I save are not too many, only a small part of what other people invest. But I am determined to keep it, whether for the next 1 year or maybe decades.

What is your first investment in the crypto market and what drives you to invest in the crypto market

The first assets I invested were Steem and Steem Dollars (SBD) and these assets came from a collection of curated results on Steemit. When I first got to know the crypto market, I didn't buy any other assets other than what I got from curation on Steemit. I only do or sell Steem and Steem Dollars and just buy other assets that I think have potential.

Nobody pushed me to invest in the crypto market, I just did it myself without any encouragement from anyone else. Because I think there is nothing wrong with investing in the crypto market. At that time I thought Cryptocurrency was a promising investment, if we get a large enough profit, as well as if it drops it can return to zero, so we need to be careful when we enter the crypto market.

Have you ever encountered any loss as a result of the instabilities in the crypto market?

Nothing is impossible if you have entered the crypto market, of course I have experienced losses in the crypto market. As a result I don't understand crypto asset price fluctuations. If we have entered the crypto market, then we must understand the risks that occur. For prices in the crypto market can change in seconds.

As recently happened, where I suffered losses in ShibaInu assets and several other assets. This error occurred because I was reckless, where I bought at a high price and sold below the price I bought. The reason I am selling is because I am afraid of a bigger loss and after a few days I sell, the price of the asset has increased again.

The risks in the crypto market are very diverse, so we must dare to make decisions. Never regret the decisions we have taken, maybe it's the best for me.

What crypto assets are you currently holding? Why did you invest in them?

For crypto assets that I have so far there are several crypto assets. At Poloniex I have assets TRX, BabyDoge, Kishu and BTT and at Indodax I have Shiba Inu, LTC, BCH, XEC, BSV and JST. Meanwhile, Bittrex has Doge and ZEN assets.

The reason I keep these assets is because in the future I have the determination and belief that these assets have a high price value. Like the Doge and Shiba Inu that happened some time ago, the price soared beyond prediction, even though now the price of the coin has returned to normal.

I'm sure the Baby Doge and Kishu coins will experience or follow the Doge and Shiba Inu prices. It could be this year, next year or the next few years. The two assets that I mentioned above are future assets for me.

As an experienced cryptocurrency investor, Do you believe in Holding or Trading cryptocurrencies?

If you say experienced, I have no experience as an investor in Cryptocurrency. Even though I know Cryptocurrency in 2017, I realize that I am still new to the Cryptocurrency world.

I believe in Holding and Trading in Cryptocurrencies. Holding is holding assets by not trading, even though the value of the assets we have increases. While trading is trading the assets that we have, be it when prices are high or low.

I myself have the nature of Holding and Trading. Like now, I'm holding Baby Doge and Kishu assets. While the other assets I trade.

What's your advice to a newbie investing in the cryptocurrency market

For beginners who want to invest in Cryptocurrencies, what you have to learn is to choose a market that you think is trusted and there is nothing wrong with asking other people if you are still unsure about the market or platform you want to explore.

If you have joined the market of your choice, determine a strategy in the crypto market such as not choosing a promising asset, when in fact the coin has the potential to decrease in price. We recommend investing in one asset if you are a beginner.

When you have entered the crypto market, never get carried away by emotions. If we have a big ego, we don't get profit, but we get losses. Finally, always analyze the movement of crypto prices. Because when we analyze crypto prices we know when to sell and buy crypto prices.

Here I invite several other steemians to participate in this contest, because the theme raised is very interesting related to the experience of investing in the crypto market. Please participate participate @ayijufridar, @zainalbakri, @husaini, @afrizalbinalka, @alol, @amre, @jufrimj, @irawandedy, @klen.civil, @amri and other friends.

Really find your post helpful, ofcourse we shouldn't get carried away by emotions when investing in the crypto market it will be very wrong, that's a good way to get ruined before we even start, that's a nice advice to newbie especially when you see a coin pumping out of fear of missing out we jump in only for the coin to dump on us.

You have conscripted a nice post here please do well to visit mine here

Emotions have a bad impact when we have entered the crypto market. So you have to be very careful.

When you have entered the crypto market, never get carried away by emotions.

I'm totally agree with you on this point when we invest in Crypto so we should control our emotions and unfortunately if we got loss so we also should be brave. Very useful advices thanks for sharing with us. I HOPE you will visit my post and suggest my something thanks

If we are carried away by emotions, then the losses can get bigger and even unstoppable.

The reason I am selling is because I am afraid of a bigger loss and after a few days I sell, the price of the asset has increased again.

I understand you buddy, perfectly this exact situation happens to me almost all the time after I sell an asset, the price tends to rise again😅.

If you have joined the market of your choice, determine a strategy

That’s true. Some investors do not actually know their style whether they prefer trading or holding. So they end up buying at a certain price and instead of making profit, they sell and make lose. Thank you for sharing and good luck.

Almost everyone who jumps into the crypto market will lose, but it is possible to make a profit.

Congratulations!

I particularly believe more in holding than trading. Trading often involves a lot of work and so much analysis which doesn’t necessarily yield too much profit unless you’re trading with huge amount of money.

Holding is much easier to do because you make your analysis, set up your trading plan and buy for the future.

Thanks for sharing.

If we are constantly in the holding, then our assets do not increase, only the numbers in the form of money increase, while the assets are still the same.

That’s very true. In a way it’s safer than trading but if you trade well I’m sure it yields more profits.

There are times when weaknesses are found in holding and trading. We need control from ourselves to be able to feel the benefits.

We do. We have to study the market a lot to get the best out of it.

Experience is very valuable and experience can be a stepping stone to make it better in the future.
