Steemit Crypto Academy Feedback

It is an honor for us to provide feedback on Steemit Crypto Academy. Therefore, I will try to describe the advantages and disadvantages of SCA last season. It should be underlined that, this is purely my opinion, if it is not in accordance with reality, please correct it.

Yesterday's Crypto Academy season 5 was a success, but I highlighted a lot of things in last season that were subpar. And below are some of the things that I really highlighted in SCA season 5 yesterday.

• Homework with almost the same topic and always repeating.

The thing that I highlight the most in the SCA community is the homework that looks like it without any real changes. For example, this week we will discuss the issue of indicator A, then next week we will return to discussing other indicators. We can't get too hung up on indicators, because cryptocurrencies are not just that.

Technical analysis is indeed very important, but I think this topic has passed in the past few seasons, we must clean up and move along the path of the ongoing cryptocurrency trend. What I mean is, the SCA community seems too focused on technical analysis.

• An outdated topic that has little to do with the future.

If we look again, the topics discussed in the previous season have become obsolete in the cryptocurrency world. We are always discussing the old blockchain which has been filled with related articles on the internet. We are not hypocrites, even though it is an outdated and repetitive topic, we will still try to solve it because we only expect a reward from the post. But this really is of no benefit at all to the user.

Honestly, I studied cryptocurrency in 2018, and the person who introduced me to cryptocurrency is a friend of mine who is currently also very active in SCA, but I will not mention his username and now we call him professor haha, because he is the one who always teaches us. I have to be honest, it is he who has taught me cryptocurrency but what is unique is that every month there will be a new topic that he teaches and can be directly practiced in the cryptocurrency world.

• Lack of current trends and issues in cryptocurrency

We expect fresh topics and current issues in the cryptocurrency market. However, we didn't get this topic last season, we focused too much on patterns and indicators, basically we only focused on technical analysis but not with issues with updates happening in cryptocurrencies.

Why don't we discuss the Metaverse, the Game, the current political issues regarding cryptocurrencies, and also the impact these issues have on the cryptocurrency market. But in reality, we're discussing reversals, bullish trends, bearish trends, sideways, etc. which are of no real benefit to everyone knowing about them.

• There must be a change in the topic that will be discussed in the next season.

We really hope that there will be changes to the discussion that we will discuss in the next season. Don't watch too much, don't get too hung up on one system, don't be too fanatical about technical analysis because all of this has passed in previous seasons. So it is time now to move forward and develop.

Professors have to make us learn new knowledge about cryptocurrencies, current trends, hot issues, and other topics that are currently being discussed in the world. There are so many topics to bring up, the Metaverse is a hit lately, why don't we study it.

• Make it easy for people who want to join SCA to learn more about cryptocurrency

The current requirements, I think are still very difficult to be fulfilled by people who want to join SCA. I see the requirement to make ten introductory posts has at least 150 SP, well I agree with those requirements. But what makes me wonder is why the professor had to deduct club5050 on intro-01 posts etc. We know, they reach 150 SP with difficulty, and they do not power up all at once for the 150 SP but are collected from the first time they join steemit until they reach 150 SP.

There were even those among them who couldn't reach 150 SP, but had to borrow it from their comrades. In my area, as mentioned earlier, my friend who teaches us also lends Steem to us who want to join SCA. Once we reach the required SP, we restore it.

• Make a real change in the next season

If possible, we'd like to see any changes in the next season. There are a few points I'd like to see in the next season.

1. Update existing rules.

There must be an update in the next season, both in terms of discussion topics, applicable rules, etc. This is very important, because it can attract more people to join SCA, especially the steemit platform.

2. Add courses for each level.

If we can't do both homework, then we can only produce one post per week and this will make it difficult for us to join club5050. So I hope that there will be additional courses at the beginner level or additional curation for the beginner level.

3. Recruit a dedicated team to teach people who want to learn cryptocurrency.

Currently, there is already a team of promoters, but I don't think this has worked well because there are still data that are made carelessly without teaching them once. They should make a grub discord or telegram to teach people who want to learn cryptocurrency specifically. With a special team, this is possible. And they can also monitor the progress of the students being taught.

• Current Rating

The current rating is good, but it also needs improvement. For example, mentioning mistakes by giving correct examples so that students can improve their knowledge. And provide a fairly clear explanation for every point deduction made, this is for goodness and fairness.

• Current rewards

I don't know the current rewards are worth it or not, but overall I'm satisfied. Because what I highlight the most are the points I mentioned above. So for the current reward, I think it just needs to be increased a little more like at the beginning of season 5. Or provide better rewards for those who join #club75 or #club100, because last season I was the one who joined club75, but there is no significant improvement for me with people joining only #club5050.
