It was a way to receive always upvotes I used it years ago. It was a good way to be rewarded. It's not easy to be found in time or to upvote if out of SP.
I don't particularly like voting services because they don't make any difference in terms of content. But I understand the background. We try to make a difference by also reading and voting for authors who are not yet very well known.
This was not a voting service. At least not how I used it. I read and decided if I voted or not. It was a good option to give a votebto an "expired" post. I still read before I vote unless I am running out of time and still want to give away my daily vote.
