Moonlit Promises: A Rainy Night's Journey of Love and Resilience

On a summer night, when nobody else was home, a young boy found himself alone in a quiet and dark room. He anxiously waited by the window, hoping to see his father returning. As time passed, it grew closer to midnight, and the sky darkened even further, accompanied by a heavy rain shower.

Amidst the pouring rain, the boy heard a faint bike horn and a voice calling out to him. It was difficult to hear clearly due to the rain, but he approached the person who had been calling. The stranger informed him that his father was drunk and lying on the roadside. Without hesitation, the boy grabbed a flashlight and went to pick up his dad.

Fortunately, the rain eventually stopped, perhaps a sign of luck. However, the road was still slippery as they were far from town. The determined boy continued walking, searching for his father. Finally, he found his dad sitting beneath a tree, drunk and unable to walk home on his own. "Come on, Dad, wake up. Let's go home," the boy said.

His dad, though intoxicated, managed to walk with the support of his son. Throughout the journey, his father yelled and scolded the boy. Despite the hurtful words, the innocent boy's tears flowed silently. He had nobody to share his emotions with, but he continued to show love and care for his father.

They eventually reached home, and the boy helped his dad into bed. However, he remained awake, his mind filled with thoughts and emotions. He left the window open, and as the moon emerged, its light shone through, bringing a sense of comfort. He prayed for better days to come and made a promise to himself never to drink like his father. He vowed to be a good person, loving everyone and everything around him.

That night, in the simplicity of his room, under the moon's gentle glow, the young boy made a heartfelt pledge. He promised to rise above his father's struggles, to lead a life filled with kindness, compassion, and love for all.
