MOTIVATIONAL STORY; THE JOY FROM WITHIN

This morning ,i got a call from a friend who's a nurse. She works at a rehabilitation center and has dedicated her life to making sure she does her best to helping others reach their best potentials and finding their purpose in life. The truth is that in the rehab center ,there are a lot of in born talent just wasting that needs to be showcased to the world. I love people like this for what they do.

Today she called me about her friend . Her friend was a chainsomker who wanted to repent of her addiction to smoking and came to the rehab center where she works. She discovered 3 months before she entered the rehab centre that she was pregnant, and that was one of the major reasons that led to her choice of not smoking again. So that faithful morning, it was time for friend to deliver and she was rushed to a hospital for delivery . She delivered a healthy baby boy . But unfortunately she remained in the hospital due a diagnosed heart problem caused by the smoking. Luckily the baby was fine . she got a bit depressed about having to spend longer times in the hospital, the public ward.

My friend who was a nurse decided and agreed to pay for her bills and transfer her to a more suitable and comfortable room,the private ward where she would be well taken care of. I helped i making some special arrangements for her transfer while my friend went outside to help complete the payments for the bills. She came back in the evening at around past 7pm and found out that her friend was still in the public ward and was very upset.

I had received about 39 text messages from my friend concerning her friends condition. She yelled at the nurses and reprimanded them for their incompetence. She was running around the hospital making sure that they attended to her friend and moved her to the private ward as soon as possible. I thought to my self, what manner of care and love is this that she wants to make sure her friend is comfortable.

You know many of us just like my friend in the above story have found joy in helping others,caring for others, in going the extra mile,doing something out your way in making sure people around you are comfortable, not suffering. Theres a joy that springs up from within when we do these things. Let us not cling to unnecessary shyness about the good we do. Let us spread the good things on our life around to others. Let our lives become a life worth imitating. let men see the good in us,let our lives vecik3a testament that there are still kind people on earth.

Theres a JOY FROM WITHIN that comes when we do things like this.
