Good evening everyone in this community, I hope your day went well and I hope meet in good condition. I want to share with you this evening how the hypothalamus maintain the homeostasis.
Sweat has a bad reputation, even though it makes our bodies freeze when it gets too hot. But how does your body know when to start sweating? It's work of hypothalamus, but Do you know why the hypothalamus, a part of your brain, says so?

All humans and many animals have a hypothalamus. The hypothalamus does many things, but its two most important functions are maintaining homeostasis and controlling certain hormones. Homeostasis is very important for all animals especially for humans.Homeostasis is derived two words which is homeo means 'the same' and stasis means 'stay ' or' not moving' ,Therefore, homeostasis means Maintenance of constant state of internal environment but that is not where I'm going today.

Consider homeostasis from the point of view of body temperature. Most animals maintain their body temperature at a certain level. For humans, it is approximately 37 °C (98.6 °F). If your hypothalamus thinks you are too hot, it will push your sweat to your sweat glands, causing You to sweat and the evaporation of this sweat leads to coolness of the body. When the hypothalamus senses that you are cold, it sends a signal to your muscles to move you and generate heat. This is called maintaining homeostasis. The hypothalamus also maintains homeostasis through several other factors, such as regulating blood pressure. Your body temperature, like that of your home, is a balance between various cooling and heating systems.

The hypothalamus also controls many of your hormones. This is done by acting as a protector of other hormone-releasing glands. When the hypothalamus senses a change in your body, it tells the right gland how you can help correct the change. For example, if you have a lot of homework, when you're stressed, the hypothalamus sends a signal to the adrenal glands that release hormones that can help you deal with stress. Dealing with stress releases sugar Which will help you deal with stress that hind you from doing your assignment.

The hypothalamus is also involved in the release of many other hormones, which regulate everything from blood pressure. This makes the hypothalamus the brain the most important link between hormones or the endocrine system.
