As you all know week I Season 2 of the Steemit Engagement challenge has been started. And I am here to take part in the challenge ” Why and how Steemit social media is different and better than other social media”. So let's start

The age of modern social media and its importance is increasing day by day. In today's world the concept of life without social media seems incomplete. Social media has expanded the reach, today you can sit in any corner of the world and easily get acquainted with information from around the world in one click.

Social media has become an integral part of today's life. Not only that, social media has made the world so small that now it seems as if the world is in its grip. Anyone sitting in any corner of the world can now be contacted with just one click. All this is possible through social media.

Question 1. Write about the social media you use the most daily and why is it beneficial for you or not?

I have a great habit of using social media. I like to be social I use WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. But WhatsApp is my favorite and most used app in all of this. I use it every day. It has many benefits. The biggest advantage is that we can talk to our loved ones anytime anytime and even see them if we want to, no matter where we are in the world. The second big advantage is that we can create groups with our friends and relatives and share our message with everyone. And the third benefit is that we can share status with our loved ones who are at the same time. Everyone can see. And the ultimate benefit is that we get a lot of privacy options that allow us to protect our data from people we don't want to see.

Question 2. Why do you think spending more time on steemit than on other social media platforms can help you grow in life and benefits your life?

Apart from WhatsApp, the most used social media app is SteemIt. Ever since I started using it, my tendency towards all other social apps has diminished. Now I am always worried about this platform. I joined this platform in January 2022. I've been using it for five months now and I feel like I've always been using it. This platform is more efficient than all other platforms. The biggest advantage of this is that it is a source of income. Unemployment is on the rise in our country these days and everyone wants to make money so this is a great thing for all these unemployed youth. Spending more time on Steemit than most other apps. There are many more benefits to this discussion that I will go through۔

This platform has changed my life. I used to work in a college but for some reason I had to quit my job. After that I had no source of income. And when you're young, it's not ok to ask your parents for money. Then I found out about this platform and by using it I now bear my own expenses and sometimes help my family. Plus, I've learned a lot and my life has changed for the better.

Question 3. In the end compare Steemit with other social media platforms by talking about their advantages and disadvantages, and give examples from your personal experience.

I found SteemIt is better and more unique than all the other social media apps. It has many benefits. It is said that everything that has advantages and disadvantages depends on the user how he uses it.

If I compare this platform with all the other apps, it is better in every way. Let's talk about advantages and disadvantages along with comparisons.

Advantages

• The biggest advantage of Steemit is that you can share anything you like and you are given a free hand. No limit is set. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. While all other social media has a strict and you have to follow all the rules.

• The other big advantage is that you don't need to have any skills. steemit is a platform that lets you make money without any skills. This is hard work on all other social media. You need millions of followers, but you don't need followers for steemit.

• The other advantage is that Steemit doesn't compromise on plagiarism. You have to put real original and quality content. The things which belong to you only. But other apps don't mind plagiarism.

• Steemit pay reward to its users. Every post gets rewards or votes from CRS or curators for their quality content in form of cash. But other social media apps do not provide you with this opportunity very easily.

• Steemit organizes events and contests for its users by participating in them users can earn rewards but other social media apps don't do such events.

• the last Steemit provides you security for your account no one can hack your account. But other social media accounts can be hacked very easily.

Disadvantages

• The first and main disadvantage of Steemit is that, it is not so easy to use for new comers it's very difficult for them. But other social apps are very easy to use.

• Another disadvantage of this platform is its keys. It had some privacy keys if you lost them you can't log in into your account ever. But other apps provide you such ways like email and phone # by using them you can recover your passwords.
