Urdu Community Contest / S2W1: Steemit; the social media that stands out by @blackalbino
Hey guys, @urdu-community and #steemitblog at large. First off, thanks to the brains behind this whole engagement thing. It’s really payoff by keeping me occupied lol.
Time and time again the question about which social media takes the kingship title is always raised and quite a good number of votes are in favor of steemit amongst it’s other social media peers.
My most used social media app
Frankly writing, my most used social app is the WhatsApp app. My first online source of earning was connected to me via WhatsApp. During the pandemic outbreak and all the corresponding lockdowns, I had most of my college lectures online, still via WhatsApp. And most importantly, I connect with friends and family on there too which brings me to the narrative of how I met @paulyoung and steemit became a reality to me.
I was going about me business online as I did then I sent a dm to @paulyoung from a group chat and we often caught up as friends did. Till that fateful day he introduced me to @steemit. How time flies, it’s officially a year now since I became a registered member on here.
Why and how steemit is different from other social media networks.
I’ll be giving my own opinion on this. I’m my one year experience with steemit, I can honestly say it has been both fun and educating. I got to realize that there was more to content creation especially unplagiarized contents.
I mostly got used to the statement of bloggers having to give blood, sweat and tears before they could make a penny out of writing in the online space but my encounter with steemit has given me another idea and definition of long term.
How steemit has helped me grow is enormous. I even made friends who were and are still my role models. The likes of @ebunoluwani, @svm08, @ngoenyi, @patjewell, @eliany and a lot more others have relatively helped me step up my game. Thanks 🙏
And the best part aside the free knowledge I get here, is that I write and get paid. Which is the light that steemit has, helping it shine brighter among it’s peers.
Conclusion
I look forward to better days and more exposure about the goodness of steemit blog to the general populace.

If we spend time on other social media platforms, we will not be able to learn much and get no rewards. But by using the steemit platform we can see better content. That is why we have to learn a lot and through regular writing we gain the skills of content writing. We can also get rewards by writing.

It is good to see how much your most used social media platform is useful to you and how much you have benefitted from it, even making new friends, your sincerity is admirable.
I think it is best we work with what is good for us and not just following the crowd, you have given reasons why Steemit is different from other platforms, one of it you mentioned is that you gain knowledge which is power.

Whatapp keep connected the people in covid19. And it is good you have good steemit experience in one year. There are three points in theme that was necessary to disscus but you did not pick all points in post. Thank you very much for taking interest
