Present your City through 3 Photographs || Week-01 || Ayodhya, India by @ak3125
Hey Steemians!!
Since, this is my first time to submit an entry here in Steemit Challenge. It's a big pleasure for me to be part of the contest by @hafizullah.
So I'm sharing my best photographs of my City here in the contest Announcing Contest Week-01 || Present your City through 3 Photographs || 15 Steem Prize Pool
Ayodhya is a very beautiful and one of the holiest cities of Hinduism situated on the river Saryu.
Tourists from all over the country come to visit here.
It's not only religiously important but also by the view of history too.
It was tha Capital of Awadh province in initial days.
So technically it's a City of Nawabs.
And before that it was part of the Koshal Kingdom and ruled by various Kings.
It's most of the temples were rejuvenated during the period of King Vikramaditya.
1: Guptar Ghat
This is a big Temple of Lord Vishnu which is situated on the banks of River Saryu.
And holds immense religious significance among Hindu devotees.
It is believed that, on this place Lord Rama had taken his last dip/ Jal samadhi to leave the earth and go back to Vaikuntha.
So many people come to offer worship here
2: Company Garden
This palce is also very near to Guptar ghat.
It's a Garden besides the river Saryu.
You can sit here and feel cool breeze always.
3: Nayaghat
This place is at distance of 5 km from Guptar Ghat. And this place is the Eastern boundary of the city.
Besides this place there is Ram Ki paidi where hundreds of pilgrims take bath daily.
At the on end of this Ghat there are hundreds of Temples which you can see in the above pic also.
So that's it Guys !
Hope you all like these pics !!
Have a good day!!!
