Hi Steemian friends good night
I went to the fish market in Lhokseumawe to buy some fresh fish. You can see that the market activity is bustling with fish buyers and sellers who place them in stalls along Pusong Street
The link to the location point I bought at the Lhokseumawe city fish market:
● Google Maps
● What3words
● plus.codes
55F2+PP Pusong Baru, Kota Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia
Types of fish for sale
- White snapper
- Ordinary snapper
- Tuna
- Tuna fish
- Bloat fish
- Shark
- Shrimp of various types and sizes
- Squid
I saw that in every stall the most sold was tuna, it seemed that this type of fish was in season in the ocean. Fishermen catch a lot of tuna so that it flooded the market.
Abundant natural resources in the ocean make fishermen's livelihoods increase. These fish can breed quickly, of course with lots of food such as plankton and other types of small fish.
This is of course with the life of coral reefs in the oceans must be guarded so as not to be damaged because in the corals small fish and various other marine biota live there. This eye cycle must be maintained properly so that these types of fish can live in large numbers
The author also walked along the pusong street to choose the fish that I would buy. When I saw fresh fish, I immediately made a bargain with the fisherman selling fish. Buying and selling transactions in traditional markets occur directly between the seller and the buyer. We will freely bid for the fresh fish if there is no price agreement between the two, namely the seller and buyer there is no problem, they will both keep smiling. This is a service in trade that is very friendly, respectful and polite, is a community that has been woven from generation to generation on the earth of the Veranda of Mecca.
When I walked through the next stall I was interested to see a white snapper that weighs 1 kg for sale at a price of IDR 60,000 (sixty thousand rupiah) equivalent to 0.56 SBD or 7.89 STEEM
Thus the author summarizes the writing of the Traditional Fish Market in Lhokseumawe City and hopefully it will be useful
Special greetings to all my Steemian friends
