Alhamdulillah, this morning we can gather to enjoy the beautiful cool morning air while chanting takbir glorifying Divine Rabbi strung together with two cycles of Eid al-Adha as an effort to get closer to the Most Holy. Let us together increase our piety to Allah SWT with all our hearts.

We intend today as the first step in starting our journey through life as reflected in the obedience and steadfastness of Allah's Prophet Ibrahim as he underwent trials from Allah Most High.

n the month of Dzulhijjah there are two images for Muslims. For those who are called by Allah to the Holy Land, they are busy with a series of pilgrimage rituals, starting from wukuf in Arafah, mabit in Muzdalifah, Mina to tawaf ifhadah. While the Muslims. others including us, we are busy with fasting arafah, alms and the celebration of Eid al-Adha and cutting the sacrifice after this.

Every time we celebrate Eid al-Adha, we are always reminded of the story of one of the prophets of Ulul Azmi, namely Nabiyullah Ibrahim AS. He is one of the most successful servants in the world who is able to conquer worldly desires in order to win his love for Allah the Most Holy.

The fragment of his sincere obedience to slaughter Ismail as the beloved son he coveted, is proof of his total submission to Allah SWT. and the slaughter of Ismail which was later replaced with a goat is a sign that since then there has been no more worship process by means of human sacrifice (offerings).

As human beings who have faith and religion, it is our duty to remember and imitate what has happened. did. Therefore, every year on the 10th of Dzulhijjah until the end of the day of tasyrik, a Muslim is encouraged to sacrifice, sacrifice a little of his wealth to prove his love for Allah SWT.

We pray that our brothers and sisters who are carrying out the pilgrimage can complete the entire series of Hajj rituals perfectly and can return safely to their homeland with the title of Mabrur Hajj.

Hajj is a spiritual journey for Muslims with the aim of getting the pleasure of Allah SWT. In it there are various rituals that have very beautiful meanings and philosophies and have very meaning in every series of processes.

1. Pillars of Hajj : IHRAM

Ihram is a symbol of self-purity, which is why in Ihram we wear all white clothes which symbolize purity and cleanliness. Ihram also symbolizes that humans are born in a state of fitrah, which is without sin.

In addition, ihram has the meaning of tajarrud which means totality, leaving all clothes and worldly attributes with taqwa clothes.

2. Pillars of Hajj : TALBIYAH

Talbiyah is a response of a servant in fulfilling an invitation to perform the Hajj in Mecca, (Saudi Arabia) and an order from Allah SWT. with tongues, hearts, and deeds that are monotheistic and glorify Him.

In addition, talbiyah also contains the promise and determination of a servant to Allah SWT that all favors, praise, and power only belong to Him

3. Pillars of Hajj : THAWAF

Thawaf teaches that believers should put their hearts into the orbit of Allah SWT, which essentially imitates the rotational movement of the entire universe, that is, where the entire universe revolves around its respective orbits as determined by Allah SWT.

So philosophically, Thawaf means that humans must make Allah SWT the point of orientation in every movement and step of their lives.

4. Pillars of Hajj : SA'I

Sai is a trace of Siti Hajar's struggle when her faith was tested by Allah SWT. with her son, the prophet Ismail As. Where at that time he ran from

Safa hill to Marwa hill 7 times to find a spring. Therefore, Allah SWT set Sa'i as one of the symbols of the pilgrimage, because Allah really appreciates the struggle of Siti Hajar who remains strong in her faith and keeps trying even when the situation is weak.

So that the philosophy obtained from Sa'i is no matter how heavy the test and as weak as the situation, as a faithful servant will continue to try. The result is a bonus from Allah SWT.

5. Pillars of Hajj : TAHALLUL

Tahallul is justifying or allowing all things that are prohibited or forbidden during the pilgrimage or pilgrimage. Tahallul is symbolized by shaving at least 3 strands of hair.

After completing this ritual, humans are required to cover (shave) their disgrace (past) by opening a new sheet of life that is better in accordance with God's guidance.

6. Pillars of Hajj : WUKUF in ARAFAH

Wukuf at Arafah contains a philosophical value so that we stop from all worldly activities to return to knowing and believing that Allah SWT is the Most Great and Most Perfect Essence, and to find the final ma'rifah about the knowledge of her identity, her life journey, her sins and is determined to don't repeat it

7. Pillars of Hajj : Throwing JUMRAH

Throwing jumrah is a symbol of breaking away from all bad qualities, and as a form of rejection and eternal enmity with all the temptations of the devil in carrying out orders from Allah SWT.

The philosophical value when throwing the jumrah is to be resilient in resisting the temptations of the devil as was done by Prophet Ibrahim when throwing the devil with a stone because he wanted to prevent him from obeying Allah's command to slaughter his son, Ismail.
