The Diary Game (May 8, 2022) - Back to hometown

I hope my friends are all healthy and fine.

Since the sun rose this morning. It was raining with moderate intensity in our place. The place where my family and I spent the Eid holiday this year. Namely in Suka Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency. Aceh-Indonesia. This is where my in-laws live, and today is the seventh day of Eid. Today, my wife and children are planning to return to our hometown. In Aceh Jaya District.

But until 10 this morning. There is no sign that the rain will stop yet. Therefore, we just relax at home. After a long wait, now the rain has stopped, although it is still drizzling. But before we travel back to our hometown, my wife and children invite me to enjoy the typical noodles of this region, namely Tek-Tek noodles. The location is not far from my father-in-law's house.

After arriving at stall 86. I ordered 3 servings of noodles and green tea. Noodles served with chicken cut into small pieces with the addition of Acehnese spices. Mie Tek-Tek is the name for the name of this noodle in the local language Aceh.

After enjoying the taste of Tek-Tek noodles, then we returned home and got ready to travel back to our hometown.

After the midday prayer or exactly at 2 pm, we went on a trip. The atmosphere on the road was filled with traffic and forth, forcing us to go at a moderate speed, the road was also slippery due to the rain since early in the morning.

About an hour and a half we traveled from Nagan Raya Regency, now we have arrived in the center of Meulaboh city, West Aceh Regency, long queues fill the intersection at every red light stop in the city center.

We have passed several red light queue points on the causeway downtown Aceh Barat. Exactly at 4 pm, we arrived at the Great Mosque, the city of Meulaboh. We also stopped at this mosque first to fulfill our Asr prayer obligations.

After performing the Asr prayer. My wife and children, I rested for a while on the terrace of the mosque. There is a very cool atmosphere in this mosque and it relieves our tiredness. Then after that, I tried to take some pictures of the beauty and splendor of the Great Mosque of Meulaboh City.

We spent about half an hour here. Then we continued our journey to Aceh Jaya Regency, with a travel time of about an hour and a half to get to our destination.

Again, heavy traffic, prevented us from going a little faster. This traffic density is caused by, coinciding with the peak of the Eid holiday on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

After traveling for half an hour, we have now arrived home, just as the sound of the Maghrib call to prayer resounded in our village. Not waiting for time to pass, I immediately took a shower and cleaned myself up. At night, I also took the time to drink coffee with friends, even though the fatigue from the trip had not gone away. At 10 pm I came home from the coffee shop, and then I went to sleep.
