BETTER LIFE | THE DIARY GAME | 18JUN2024 | 👚🧺 Laundry day and movie night with my sister @hanna716 📺🎥

Woke up around 5:25 in the morning today. But I just closed my eyes again and tried to go back to sleep again until my alarm went off around 5:45 in the morning and at 6 o'clock again. This time I just opened my phone and looked at my notification and then browsed all of my social media accounts.

When I got downstairs, I decided to do the laundry today. So I organised all of the clothes first by colored, whites and black clothes. I also got some of the dirty clothes that we have upstairs and then joined the clothes that are already outside.

After I put in the clothes inside the washing machine, I decided to also do my workouts while it is rinsing the first batch of laundry. I just use our indoor bike as it is much easier for me to pause the workout when I need to put in the detergent to the washing machine. And like always I prepare myself a cup of coffee before I start to do my workout. I also watched some YouTube videos on our TV while I was doing my workout, so that I would be distracted and not notice the time that I've already spent in the machine.

When the washing machine finished the first batch of the laundry, I hung it up first then put in the second and last batch of laundry in the washer. I waited for it to finish rinsing the clothes first before I went and took a bath. I took that time to take a rest from my workout.

Later that day, around 10:30 in the morning, my sister started to cook for our brunch. She prepared all of the vegetables that she will use and chopped it into smaller pieces as she will add it up to the corned beef. After she finished preparing all of the ingredients that she needed, she then fried some eggs first then cooked the corned beef.

Later that afternoon, we watched the movie ‘Boy Kills World’ on our TV. It was what I expected it to be, since I saw on the start of the movie that it was a Vertigo production, that the movie would be brutal and bloody. The story was a bit comedic as the original form of it was a comic and the cinematography of it was a bit of a DC Movie. As Vertigo is a partner or under DC Comics, as I have noticed in the comic site that I read on that they are both on the spine of each of the comic books that I've browsed or read.

The movie is about a boy that is deaf and mute. in the movie it was shown that her mother and sister were killed by a woman who played Jean Grey in the X-men movies (the old X-men movie). Then he was trained by this man to take revenge on her. They did various training until he was already big and buff enough to fight them. I don’t want to spoil other details in the movie so I would just recommend that you watch the movie. One note though, don’t let your children watch this unsupervised as there is a lot of strong language and scenes that are not very suitable for them.

After we finished watching it, my sister started to prepare for our dinner. While she was preparing we watched a live stream of Monsta X’s Shownu on YouTube as he was celebrating his birthday live with his fans. I then cooked our rice again then she started to cook.

After we ate our dinner, we watched another movie again. We watched ‘Inside Out 2’. We were a bit emotional of the movie as we really did understand and felt what the character was feeling in the movie. The new set of emotions was really relatable and very real.
I was a bit angry at Joy again in this movie because she was still not letting other emotions get in Riley, she dumped other memories that are not that important and memories she would like Riley to forget immediately. Which was also relatable as teenage years are full of regrettable, wrong and cringy decisions. But all in all, we really got emotional about this as there is really a lot of pressure in the society, and the movie shows that it’s okay to make mistakes and to not look at the future with fear and doubt. We are all going though the same journey and it's best to stay on it with friends and family.
The movie is not just for kids but also for adults as there are a lot of lessons to get in this movie. So I also recommend that you watch this with your family.
