Representing the Acting Regent, Fadli Abdullah gave a speech at the 2024 Architecture Expo.

Head of the Bireuen Regency Public Housing and Settlement Areas (Perkim) Service, Fadli Abdullah gave a speech at the 2024 Architecture Expo which was held by Architecture students, Faculty of Engineering, Almuslim University, on Saturday 29 June 2024 in the courtyard of the local Regent's Hall.

Kadis Fadli Abdullah was present and gave a speech representing the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan. Kadis Fadli Abdullah in a written speech said that the Bireuen Regency Government welcomed and supported the implementation of the 2024 Architecture Expo.

"We hope that this activity can be a good forum for socializing the architecture study program," said Head of Department Fadli Abdullah.

Kadis Fadli Abdullah also hopes that this activity will become an opportunity to introduce architectural knowledge to the wider community.

"Of course, this activity is also a gathering place for architecture students from the Aceh region and alumni as well as an architectural exhibition," added Kadis Fadli Abdullah.

Kadis Fadli Abdullah added that the exhibition is not just a visual show, but a narrative that is able to reveal the story behind each element.

"Architectural exhibitions are placed in a broader context, where design is not only appreciated in terms of aesthetics, but also as a reflection of thought, attention to the integrity of society and efforts to respond to the challenges and changes of the times," concluded Kadis Fadli Abdullah.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor (Warek) I of Peusangan Islamic University (Umuslim), Halus Satriawan said, in the current era, development is directed at Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets related to green architecture.

"This is in line with what the World Health Organization (WHO) is targeting," said Warek Halus Satriawan.

Vice Rector Halus Satriawan reminded students and academics working in the field of architecture to be able to design environmentally friendly developments.

"This is our challenge going forward," said Warek Halus Satriawan.

Warek Halus Satriawan added, our presence in the equatorial region has its own uniqueness related to architecture.

"Architecture must support mitigation of climate change, where environmental conditions must be realized in architectural design and combined with modern architecture," added Warek Halus Satriawan.

Warek Halus Satriawan hopes that the Architecture Expo in the future can be held on a larger scale by inviting students from architecture study programs throughout Aceh and Sumatra.

"In the future, the Architecture Expo can also hold seminars on modern architecture and green architecture to increase knowledge about more developed architecture and can be used as a journal, media publication or other things," said Warek Halus Satriawan.
