The Independent Election Commission (KIP) of Banda Aceh City carried out the Inauguration of Voter Data Updating Officers (Pantarlih) for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) for Banda Aceh City at the Amel Hotel Banda Aceh, Monday (24/6/2024).
Chairman of the Banda Aceh City KIP, Yusri Razali, said that the 2024 Banda Aceh City Simultaneous Voter Data Update (Pantarlih) Officers who were inaugurated numbered 639 people spread across 334 Polling Places (TPS) who would later be tasked with updating voter data for the 2024 Regional Election.
"Pantarlih will start working from June 24 2024 to July 24 2024 by visiting voters at home to carry out matching and research (Coklit) of voter data," said Yusri.
Later, he said, the appointed Pantarlih officers will begin updating voter data in each gampong for the Pilkada for Governor and Deputy Governor, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Banda Aceh.
"We hope that the updating of election data can run smoothly and create peaceful, safe and conducive regional elections," he concluded.
At this inauguration activity were also present the Chairman and Members of the Banda Aceh City KIP, the Banda Aceh City KIP Secretary, the Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh, Dandim 0101/KBA, the Banda Aceh Police Chief, and the Banda Aceh Panwaslih.
Quoted from the Bawaslu page, Pantarlih is a Voter Data Update Officer (PPDP) or usually called a Coklit (matching and research) officer, who was formed by the Voting Committee (PPS).
Pantarlih carries out coklit updating voter data according to Model A of the Voter List or based on KPU data, by visiting voters directly from house to house.
The number of Pantarlih is 1 person for 1 TPS, in the event that the number of voters in 1 TPS is more than 400 voters, Regency/City KPU and PPS. appointed 2 Pantarlih people for the TPS. The Pantarlih's term of office is one month, June 24 to July 25 2024.
Pantarlih's duties are to assist the Regency KPU, PPK and PPS in compiling the Voter list, including carrying out matching and research on Voter data, providing proof of registration to Voters, conveying the results of matching and research to PPS; and carry out other tasks assigned by.
Pantarlih's obligation is to coordinate with PPS in compiling the Voter list from the updated results. Prepare and provide reports to PPS regarding the implementation of matching and research and Pantarlih has responsibility for PPS.
