Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D, represented by Assistant II of the Bireuen Regional Secretariat, Dailami S.Hut, inaugurated the Beach Marine Tourism Area in Gampong (Village) Krueng Juli Timu, Kuala District, Bireuen, Friday (7/6/2024).

The inauguration procession was marked by cutting the ribbon by Assistant II Dailami followed by peusijuek (plain flour) a number of children's play equipment by Tgk Azhari, AR (local gampong Imum).

Assistant II of the Bireuen Regional Secretariat, Dailami, told reporters that the Bireuen Regency Government really appreciates the idea of ​​the Gampong Government together with elements of the Gampong Institution and the people of Gampong Krueng Juli Timu, who are working together to build a tourist attraction in this gampong.

It is said that the impact of this tourist attraction can certainly have a positive impact such as increasing community productivity,

Apart from that, it will advance the economy and increase the economic income of the local village community and its surroundings.

"If this tourism can develop well, it will certainly be able to create jobs for the local gampong community in particular and Bireuen in general," he said.

Dailami continued, this beach tourist attraction can be carried out using an Islamic tourism scheme, and etiquette and culture must still be maintained.

So that the selling value is good, the cleanliness of the tourist attraction needs to be paid attention to, the manager must monitor the cleanliness of this tourist attraction. Such as don't throw rubbish carelessly and don't throw rubbish around.

"Regarding waste management, we can collaborate with the Bireuen Environment and Forestry Service (DLHK)," said Dailami.

Kuala Erizal Subdistrict Head, S.TP said, in principle this beach tourism was launched a year and a half ago, and today it was just inaugurated.

Of course, there are still many shortcomings, so it is hoped that all relevant parties and stakeholders can develop and advance this beach tourism.

The Erizal sub-district head also hopes that this beach tourist destination will be managed well, so that visitors will be interested in returning to this tourist location.

"The community is expected to continue to maintain the values ​​of Islamic Sharia, order, cleanliness and respect local regulations," said Head of Subdistrict Erizal.

The local Keuchik gampong (village head), Sry Kumar, expressed his gratitude to all parties for their support so that today the Krueng Juli Timu Village Beach Tourism, Kuala District, Bireuen, was inaugurated.

According to him, this beach tourist attraction is equipped with a number of supporting facilities including culinary delights and children's play areas.

God willing, with the existence of this beach tourist attraction, it can encourage improving the economy of the local community and its surroundings.

The government and people of Gampong Krueng Juli Timu, he said, really hope that there will be special attention from the Bireuen Regency Government, the Aceh Provincial Government and related agencies.
