The Diary Game: Better Life Aug. 28| Teaching Children Simple House Chores
20% payout goes to @steem.sea
Greetings Steemians!
Today let me share our daily routine, my kids and I spend most of our time at home. I remember when I was a child my mother as a single parent she has taught me and my brothers to do chores. Everyday we were assigned to a certain task and we followed them until we became adult.
I believe that simple training has made us responsible individual and capable of survival. So since my children are old enough to do chores I am teaching them, I showed them how to sweep the floor, change bedsheets, and wash the dishes.
My son enjoys washing the dishes, we are only three at home so he doesn't have to wash too many dishes. We planned a schedule for everyone at home. One for every meal. He washes in the morning, my daughter in the afternoon and I wash at night.
We also cleaned the house too, changed the bedsheets and sweep the floor. The simple things I teach my kids are the things they will remember as they grow. When they become adults they know how to live their life.
I did not grow up from a rich family and so as my kids, we can not afford to pay for house maids so we have to do things on our own. Learning the value of responsibility is something I think starts at home, our parents show us how to become responsible individual and that is what we bring through our life.
Everyone in the house has task to do, in that way we survive by helping each other. I hope the things I teach my kids will be something they will remember. The day ended tiring but fulfilling. Clean house reflects the people living in it.
