The weather is so sunny today, the sun is starting to shine on the earth. This morning my whole body felt sick, maybe because of the trip home from North Sumatra, last time I was on vacation with my family. I feel like I want to cuddle in bed and don't want to do any activity. I forgot that today is my best friend Attin's happy day, he is my college classmate. today he held a wedding ceremony by his girlfriend. they will get married, before getting married in the Aceh area, they must hold a proposal ceremony called Ba Peuha or Ba Ranup.

Ba ranup or carrying betel nut is a sacred tradition in Acehnese customs during the wedding procession. This habit has been maintained from generation to generation.
Before ba ranub, first the family will send a messenger called seulangke to take care of the matchmaking. If Seulangke has got the girl in question, then he will first review the status of the girl. If no one has one, then he will convey the intention of proposing to the girl.
On the agreed day, a group of elders from the male side came to the girl's parents' house with betel (ba ranub) to strengthen the bond.

I was contacted by my friend cut to take a shower, at 10.00 wib he would pick me up. I don't think I want to attend the event because of my bruised body, but I can't because he's my best friend. I get out of bed and do a little exercise in my room so that my body is not stiff.
I took a towel and took a shower.
after that I took a bone white shirt and a mint color hijab. today we are wearing white and mint soft uniforms to make them beautiful for the photoshoot.
after wearing clothes I dress up a little to look beautiful.

My friend arrived to pick me up in front of the house, while riding the motorbike my thigh hurt. We continued our journey by way of a closer road to his house. on the way we met our friend who was going to attend the event. We went to the bride's house at the same time. it will take more than 1 hour to get there. His house is a little deeper, on the way we saw hills and mountains that looked beautiful.

When we arrived at the house, we were greeted by him. a happy face radiated from his face. we hugged him and congratulated him, he is my friend who is getting married. We were also invited to sit for a while, the weather today is very hot and arid making us feel stifling. her mother is very kind she entertains us, welcome to eat so don't be shy when taking food.

After we finished eating, we sat for a while and talked about our happiness, we also captured the moment on a camera so that it will be remembered forever. not long after taking pictures we were told to go into the room because the groom's family arrived. we went into the room while waiting for the groom's family to eat, finished eating finally the event we were waiting for, namely the installation of a ring by the parents of her future husband, my best friend, she felt shaking when she came out, she shook her husband's family one by one. I was asked by my friend Riska to accompany her behind.

After finishing the installation of the rings and bracelets he felt very happy, we also felt it. pray for me, all of my friends, to be quickly met with my soul mate, I want to feel like it too. After finishing the ring installation, she took a photo with her future husband's family.

We also said goodbye to the family to return to their respective homes. the clock was already showing the time of the afternoon, on the way we stopped to buy meatballs. Stomach that feels very hungry because of the long journey makes our stomach feel like eating. finished buying we also traveled back home and we arrived at the house it was almost time for Maghrib.

After sunset I also read a few verses of the Koran to calm my heart, after that I sat down while reading the posts of other friends, and I took my motorbike keys and headed to the nearest Alfamart to buy my monthly needs which had run out. finished buying I went home and read some posts from friends to motivate myself. I yawned and fell asleep by myself.

So that's my activity today in attending the ring exchange event for a university friend, I hope you like my Diary today. I am very happy and grateful to be able to join the great female friends in this community.
