Umuslim Faculty of Communication Studies Students On Job Training to Several Aceh Offices.

Students of the Informatics study program, Faculty of Computer Science (Fikom) Almuslim University (Umuslim) On Job Training (OJT) or Internship (KP) to several offices in Bireuen and other districts/cities in Aceh.

The handover of students who are carrying out internships (KP) to the location of the internship was directly delivered by the field supervisor who is a permanent lecturer at Umuslim Faculty of Communication Studies since several days ago.

Dean of the Umuslim Faculty of Computer Science Riyadhul Fajri SSt MKom explained that the students who are carrying out internships this batch number 77 people, and are accompanied by six Field Supervisor Lecturers (DPL).

"They are placed in 30 agencies, both government, private, banking and industry located in several districts/cities in Aceh," said Riyadhul Fajri.

The head of the implementation of the work practice (KP) Fikom, Umuslim, Iqbal MCs added that students are at the work practice (KP) location from August 5 to October 5, 2024.

According to Iqbal, work practice is one of the compulsory courses in the Informatics study program with a load of 4 credits, before they complete their studies.

The implementation of work practice aims to train students in applying the knowledge they have learned during their studies and as a means of training for students before entering the world of work.
