Ahead of the simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) on November 27, various groups took part in morning prayers, prayer and remembrance together and heard sermons and pledges for peaceful regional elections in the courtyard of the Bireuen Police Headquarters, Tuesday, 23/7/2024, at dawn.
The activity began with morning prayers together in the courtyard of the Bireuen Police Headquarters, some participants brought prayer mats and other prayer equipment. After the congregational morning prayer on the green field at the Bireuen Police Headquarters, the activity continued with collective remembrance.
After the remembrance and prayer together, it was followed by short remarks from the Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko SH MH, Chairman of the Bireuen KIP, Saiful Hadi SE MM and a sermon delivered by Tgk Ismuar SAg.
After the tausiah, the activity continued with symbolic donations to dozens of orphans and the signing of a declaration by each political party leader, Forkopimda elements and the reading of a declaration containing a number of key points that the election was peaceful and successful.
Bireuen Police Chief AKBP Jatmiko SH MH said that the collective remembrance and prayer was a form of synergy of all elements in making the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections take place safely, peacefully, coolly and successfully.
It was explained that the collective remembrance and prayer had started with the congregational morning prayer, this activity was a synergy of all elements in welcoming the 2024 regional elections in a safe, peaceful and cool manner.
"Peaceful and cool implementation of the Pilkada is the hope of all of us, we TNI - Polri together with related agencies and the community are ready to oversee the stages leading to the 2024 Pilkada," he said.
The Bireuen Police Chief hopes that the community will continue to uphold the spirit of national unity and unity, not be divided, in order to create peace and tranquility, especially in the Bireuen Regency area.
He added that currently the National Police is carrying out Operation Nusantara Cooling System (NCS) in order to create a secure security and social order situation, especially ahead of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.
The active role of the National Police, especially the Bireuen Police, as a Cooling System in calming the situation in society, is the main goal in making the 2024 Regional Election safe and peaceful. By involving influential figures in society, including religious leaders, traditional leaders, youth leaders, who will later assist the National Police in spreading the message of safe and peaceful regional elections.
The meeting ended with coffee and breakfast together at the Bireuen Police Headquarters.
