Bireuen Forkopimda Holds Mutual Cooperation and Installs 1,000 Red and White Flags.
To enliven the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) held mutual cooperation and installed 1,000 flags on four roads in the heart of Bireuen City, Friday (9/8/2024) morning.
The activity was attended by elements of Forkopimda, TNI-Polri personnel and all employees of the Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) which took place in two separate locations, namely at the Regent's Pendopo and the Cot Gapu Green Open Space (RTH) field which was combined with equalization of social assistance for orphans and a joint assembly led by the Chief of Police, AKBP, Jatmiko.
Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan said that this activity was held by the Bireuen Regency Government to enliven the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, he said, after installing the red and white flag on the edge of the RTH field with the Police Chief, Kajari, Assistant I and other related officials.
Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko further said, today we are carrying out mutual cooperation in two locations, namely the Regent's hall and the Cot Gapu RTH field, followed by installing 1,000 red and white flags in four areas of the heart of Bireuen City.
The locations start from Bireuen City to the Simpang IV monument, the Medan - Banda Aceh road, the Banda Aceh - Medan road, the Bireuen - Takengon road. Including installing the red and white flag on public vehicles when stopping at traffic lights (red lights).
"In the Cot Gapu RTH field this morning we also distributed social assistance provided by the Forkopimda to orphans as an effort to help ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who are still in need," he said.
AKBP Jatmiko hopes that the people of Bireuen will participate in enlivening the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, and also make the Aceh - North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) and the simultaneous Pilkada a success.
Both by maintaining order in traffic and supporting the police's duties in maintaining security and public order (Kamtibmas) ahead of the implementation of the Aceh - North Sumatra PON 2024, appealed AKBP Jatmiko, accompanied by Regional Secretary Ir Ibrahim Ahmad, MSi and related officials.
