Legends of Runeterra! Issue #5!

Hello, mortals! The season ended a few days ago, and I was Platinum 2 so I got really good rewards this season. The biggest change in the game is, of course, the newest expansion that arrived and I'm loving every second of it.

The game is more awesome now than ever with the 11 new champions and the new mechanics like "Attune", "Deep" and "Plunder". In my last post I wrote about my deck with Teemo, that had gotten me to Platinum 2, but I've now upgraded with the newest champion and some new cards from this expansion.

Introducing my favourite champion from League of Legends: the one and only Lee Sin and his trusty disciples! I couldn't be happier that they've made him as a card, and they made him a really tricky card, which I really like. Lee Sin is very good on my Teemo deck just because of how he is able to gain a "Challenger" and "Barrier" ability every time you cast a spell while he's on the board. After you cast 7 spells, he levels up, and then things become interesting. Lee Sin has a unique ability called the "Dragon's Rage" which allows him to kick the opponent into their Nexus and damage their Nexus as much as Lee Sin has attack power in that moment (if Lee has 4 attacks that is how much damage the Nexus will take ). If the opponent's card survives the damage from Lee Sin, he is recalled to his opponent's hand.

The next card I want to talk about is the "Eye of the Dragon". Every time you play 2 spells while she is on the board, a dragon with 2 attacks and 1 health appears right beside her! The dragon is great against rush decks because the dragon has the "Lifesteal" ability so every time he attacks or takes damage, you heal your Nexus.

The tactic for this deck is to put as many shrooms into your oponnent's deck and wait until he draws his demise. You have to be careful with casting spells, because there are some cards in your deck that have special synergy with your spells while they are on the board - so keep an eye on that. When you have the"Puffcap Peddler", the "Eye of the Dragon" and "Lee Sin", that is the best time to cast spells because they have the best synergy with them. Try to put your oponnent's Nexus to their lowest HPs so you can finish them with your "Dragon's Rage" spell or Lee Sin's ability!
