Climate is the general condition that prevails a long period of time. Get the data on weather conditions of at least 30-35 years should be studied for idea about the general conditions. According to the different climatic characteristics prevail in different geographical zones within a long period of time various types in the climate of the world has been identify. The example such as the temperature, means of rainfall and the time of rain are important in determine a special type of climate.
The first idea about distribution of climate in the global was originally put forward by a Greek scientist Aristotle around 384 BC. He basically used describe of temperate change and the latitudinal location of the universe. During a later period, person like Austin Miller, Thornthwaite and Keppen havehave presented wide climatic classifications at global level. Sub- climatic types have been identified according to the specific features within the main climatic zones. Emphasis is given here only on the three main climatic zones which are based on the distribution of the latitudinal temperature in the world.

The main climatic zones

  1. The Tropical zone
  2. The Temperature zone
  3. The Frigid or Polar zone

Tropical climate
The zone located between the Tropic of Cancer 23 1/2° North latitude and Tropic of Capricorn 23 1/2° South latitude in known as the Tropical Zone. The very high temperature is reported in this zone and a highest temperature is present thoroughout the year (over 18°C). There is a warm climatic and no winter conditions can be seen. Most of the areas located in this zone receive a very high rainfall throughout the year. Large forest region like Amazon, Congo, desert like Sahara, Arabia, Thar, Great Australian desert and large grasslands are located in this zone. The main reason for this is the variation of rainfall. Monsoon climate is an unique climatic feature that's prevalent in this zone.

Temperature climate
The Temperature zone stretches between the Tropic of Cancer (23 1/2° North latitude) and the Arctic Circle (66 1/2° North latitude) and also between the Tropic of Capricorn (23 1/2° South latitude) and the Antarctic Circle (66 1/2° South latitude). The normal temperature in the temperate zone is lower than in the tropical zone. According to rhe seasonal differences the temperature changes in each of the seasons. A hot season and a cold season with rainfall could be clearly seen in this zone. Prevalence of the Mediterranean climate is a specific feature of this zone.

You proper explain the climate variety of world and simply understand how its divided.I got proper idea about The Tropical zone, The Temperature zone and
The Frigid or Polar zone.I think we are so lucky because we have rain forest, water falls and comfortable temperature than other tropical zone countries.
