Mihintale is a mountain located in the city of Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed that Arahant Mahinda, the founder of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, and King Devanampiyatissa met at this place. Mihintale is now a popular pilgrimage destination and is also a popular destination for foreigners.
