Two days with Badminton: SMASH 2.0

Hey steem buddies, today I am going to share my experience with you. It is about a badminton tournament. I hope you will be interesting on this article. Anyway, this was two-day all-island badminton tournament organized by Leo Club of Negombo Orient at Jeraj Fernandopulle indoor gymnasium in Negombo. It is SMASH 2.0.

It was one of great experience in my life. I participated alone without my team due to the covid-19 pandemic situation. I registered using an online platform. There were matches under three categories. But I participated only two. They were women single category and mixed double category. On the first day, only the semifinalist were selected. On the next day was announsing of the winners from the semifinalists.

Oo yeah! Now I’m going to talk about the first-day experiences. On the first day, I participated with my love and my mixed double partner De bro and his girlfriend Kalani. De bro called her Lakani. Hee lol. She was very friendly with me at the first time we met. I was so nervous. Because “I want to do it surely”. Always my mind told me like that.

Mmmm I played my mixed double with my double partner Dehen. I want to thank him coz, he gave his fullest corporation to win the matches. Anyway, we selected to the semifinals, and also I was lucky to select the semis in the women's single category.

Well, I was very happy that day. Those all credits go to the best partner in my life. Because he guided me always. Thank you for my love for being with me.

That day in the evening we went to the Avendra bayfonte in Negombo. This was the first time I went to bayfonte. It is such an amazing place. We eat more things ha haa.

Then that day was over. I spent a beautiful day with these beautiful souls. It was hard to say goodbye to them.

Finally, the finals came. I was so nervous more than the first day. This time I participated with my father. Dehen and kalani participated that day. That day occurred in the semifinal and final matches in all categories. The day started with mixed doubles. We were the second runners-up. Then I selected to finals. It was started. I could not performed my best. Because I had not fitness, since 3 months I was not practicing. Coz, I am not at the university. Therefore I did not win the finals. But I was lucky to get the place runners-up in the women's single category.

I saved my two days. It was one of my achievements in my memories. I’m so proud of these achievements. Special thank goes to my father and my life partner for tolerating me and your support to achieve my goals. I’m in some ware now It is because of my parent and my love.
