Manchester United have officially completed the 6 months loan deal for the Nigerian born striker, Odion Ighalo. Manchester United were in desperate need for a striker in the winter transfer because of the 3 months injury suffered by Marcus Rashford. It's a good deal for United as they can't rely on the inconsistent Anthony Martial. Welcome to Manchester United, Odion Ighalo.

Inter Milan and Tottenham were both in the race to sign Odion Ighalo on a loan deal till the end of the season, but he chose Manchester United. He had always been a fan of Manchester United, and he said this 👇 in 2016;

I’m not sure I’d say no if United called. They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV. They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream.

It's a dream come true for the Nigerian striker, as his dream is now a reality. In the contract, there's no option to buy him after the end of the season.
