What is digital currency?
Digital currency
The digital "crypto currency" and "encrypted assets" are intended to represent part or all of the uses of traditional currencies, payment methods, import margins, and account units. Since it covers multiple currency instruments with different technical, legal and practical characteristics, it is misleading, from decentralized digital tokens (such as one end of the spectrum) to official digital currencies of publicly funded financial institutions at the other end. Many of its counterfeits (often referred to as "crypto assets") are best viewed as an unstable and speculative asset class that some users are willing to accept as a payment method. Because of the encryption and decentralized blockchain technology that protects the identity of the owner, governments are deeply concerned about its use in illegal activities such as cover-ups, terrorist financing, and non-payment. Both companies are studying the possibility of introducing digital tokens. The digital currencies that have attracted the greatest interest of the two companies and the governments dedicated to managing digital tokens are "stable currencies", especially global stability such as global currencies currency. It's called Libra, now it's called Diem.
