Homemade Sooji Appe
• Combine 1 cup sooji, 3/4th cup curd and salt to taste in a bowl.
• Add 1/2 cup water, mix and keep it aside for 20 mins.
• After 20 mins, add chopped onions, green chilli, curry leaves to the batter and a pinch of baking soda.
• Add some water if required.
• Heat the appe pan and add few drops of oil into the pan holes.
• Fill each hole with a spoonful of batter.
• Cover and cook on medium heat.
• Once the bottom is crisp and golden brown, flip over and cook the other side as well.
• Serve with your favourite chutney.
