After 34 weeks of competition, the Bundesliga Fantasy Manager contest has come to an end.
Having led since Gameweek 1, @the-gorilla finished at the top with a final lead of 335 points.
@jimah1k has maintained his position of 2nd place throughout the season, finishing with a gap of 453 points clear of 3rd.
With 10 Gameweeks to go, the battle for 3rd place was close - @arahman and @rubilu123 were in a tight battle which @arahman got the better of, claiming 3rd by a comfortable 96 points.

Delegations of 15 STEEM to @ijmah1k and 10 STEEM to @arahman have now been made and I'll be updating the Hall of Fame in due course.

Concerning the delegation, I think it should be higher since it’s not liquid steem you can cashout. I feel like the 15 Sp delegation doesn’t have much impact in terms of the voting or the curation rewards. (Just my opinion).
Just as you said it’s your steem and competition you decide on what to do. Most of us are already people who do it just for the thrill. The prices are just incentives that help us to keep going. an example is the la liga fantasy were I missed about 3 gameweeks was down to 5th place but I worked my way up to third hopefully I will go Second😂.
Anyways i will participate in next season’s competition. Looking forward to topping the league.
I wondered the same about the prizes - my thinking that 15SP might not be much initially but its cumulative effect increases quite quickly - especially when weekly prizes are taken into account (which the Bundesliga didn't have this season and if I run it next season, it will).
Do you think that I should run Bundesliga again next season? I didn't feel that there was much interest this season and running so many contests requires quite a lot of effort. I'm definitely binning off the Fantasy Football Scotland.
I understand it seemed to easy with no competition I think it’s as a result of how they award their points. Both Halaand and lewandoski won’t be there next season so it would be interesting to see how other users will Lineup.
If you ask me I think we should continue with the bundesliga fantasy for the other fantasy (Scotland) I had no idea about some players I bought😂. At some point I gave up on it.
The Scottish one was a pain - there's almost no information about Scottish football and the lack of a website was annoying. So it was mostly guesswork. Actually, it was total guesswork!
The Bundesliga thinking wasn't so much the lack of competition (I was always keeping an eye on you!) but I wasn't sure if people were really interested. Maybe it'll be ok doing England, Spain, Italy, Germany and Champions League. I might have to write some "beginners tips" posts so that people don't give up too early!
At some point I was like Naa I can’t reach him again, so I needed to solidify my second position.
That will be very important . Most user including myself give up way too early😅. Take the Epl fantasy for instance I wasn’t able to make some changes for some weeks and I was overtaking I got mad and deleted the app😂. The same applied to the La liga fantasy I missed about 2 to 3 gameweeks I nearly gave up buh I continued and now am 3rd hoping to make it to Second😅.
With FPL in particular, you can close a gap of 100 points with a bit of luck. Captaining Kevin De Bruyne last week gave a difference of 60 points - enough to put me 49 points behind and pretty much guarantee me finishing 2nd.
With La Liga, a simple mistake can mean a team scores 0 points - absolutely brutal. I'm looking forward to this one next season 🙂
Yah another interesting feature is the Release clause😂. I like it when I do it someone. But when it’s used against me am always sad especially when you signed Benzema from me.
I still remember feeling angry when somebody took on of my players for the 1st time 🤣 And that magical day when Karim Benzema made the switch...
I'll double the delegations for this and the other leagues which don't have weekly prizes 🙂
