Rodgers- How Can Anyone Believe in a God Who Sends People to Hell 😆
About a month ago, Aaron Rodgers, an American quarterback, gave an interview to Danica
Patrick for her "Pretty Intense" podcast and opened up about his religious skepticism. He spoke about joining a Christian group when he was younger, even going on memorable missionary trips, but his priorities changed once he got to college. He also learned about other religions, and realized a lot of religious claims are equally absurd. He added, "… I don’t know how you can believe in a God who wants to condemn most of the planet, you know, to a fiery hell. Like, what type of loving, sensitive, omnipresent, omnipotent being wants to condemn most of his beautiful creation to a fiery hell at the end of all this?"

I'm sure if it were not because most celebrities, including sports personalities, depend on PR to sustain their careers, we'd be getting more opinions like this one.
It is hard for any intelligent person to accept as truth something so questionable. From the very creation stories to the rather inmoral precepts that rule most religions in the world, it is hard to play along without suspending critical thinking and logic.
That's what faith is ultimately, and that's what belief is predicated under.
"it is hard to play along without suspending critical thinking and logic"i love this sentence...
you have said it all...
Thanks. That's very kind of you. I just think the world needs more reason-driven actions. Most people around the world seem to be driven by emotions and blind ideological assumptions. It applies to politics, religion, sports, etc.
In these circumstances, it's hard to believe.
well that is his own opinion though...everyone is entitled to their opinion...
we live in a world whereby when you try to point out the truth that many people are blind to see they begin to call you an enemy just because the truth sounded bitter to them, anyways the truth is bitter and so i am not surprised with the way many religious folks react when you expose the truth which they do not know...
all i know is that he made so many valid points which are food for thought...
