Actsofkindness : Donations for orphans from construction workers of Cot Girek - Programs for Disadvantaged Regions in Indonesia [September 08, 2021]

A historic day for the implementers of construction activities in the lagging blood program in Indonesia, especially those in remote areas in the Cot Girek sub-district after completing construction in the first phase with an average progress of 50%.

24 contractors for 70 activities held a celebration by giving the project's profits to orphans in one of the orphanages in Cot Girek sub-district, North Aceh district. 11 zaks of rice and various basic needs for orphans were distributed in terms of helping them so that the needs of these orphans were met.

Apart from basic materials, the implementers of this construction activity also gave some cash to them through the caretaker of the orphanage. Here, I am in charge of facilitating the needs of the orphans, always coordinating with the implementers of construction activities. This is the first activity in celebration of the implementation of 50% progress, and this will continue when 100% construction activities later are expected to be completed in December.
