Today In sports History: Steroids in Baseball

in #history7 years ago

Now I'm not a huge baseball guy, I root for the Philles, but I don't claim to be a die-hard fan. Was I happy they won it all in 2008? Of course, but I did not pretend that I followed the games or anything like that.

Regardless, on **November 15,2005 the American Baseball Player's Association as well as the Franchise owners, agreed to toughen the penalties on players who used steroids. The first offense resulted in a 50-game suspension, the second was a 100-game suspension and then a LIFETIME BAN for the third infraction.

Harsh, but fair I suppose.

My issue with steroids in baseball is this. It is getting more and more difficult to catch the juicers as time and technology evolves. So why not allow steroids? I know this is a controversial take, but baseball is losing its hold on the younger audiences. Amongst the many reasons that is happening, is lack of excitement.

People went crazy when Aaron "Judge Fudge" Judge hit the long ball game after game. Why? Because it was electrifying for the fans in attendance and the fans watching on TV. Now imagine if the majority of players had that ability. More people would go to games, more people would watch and that results in...MORE MONEY.

Is it safe? I really don't know. But I do know that this would help in solving some problems that the MLB is having.

What are your thoughts? Agree, disagree? Let me know!

I can tell you where you can buy quality steroids now. I was just looking too because I was trivial lack of muscle mass and it was really problematic for me. That's why I am very glad that anabolic steroids for sale and now I too can buy steroids without any problems and significantly improve my muscle mass even without much intensive training, which I have no time for and the result would be obviously more modest.
