1000 years old
Here we go again look when I found 1000 years old parts from local tail boat hanging on the wall here in Bangkok I was so impressed the boat was found in the forest with tools almost half of full equipment inside. The Owner of the land own this things and hanging in this restaurant as family ownership to pronounce to everyone how strong is Thai fishing or transportation important in Bangkok.

Thanks for the post. Being a product of an American public education, we were taught almost nothing about Asian history. Only with the Internet did I start to learn about how advanced Asian cultures really were during the same time Western cultures were barely getting by. Thousands of years ago, when people were basically living in grass huts, great Asian cities were being built with fantastic technology.
I hope to do some traveling that way sometime soon and visit museums and such to see, with my own eyes, the wonderful contributions ancient Asian cultures have given to the world. But until that happens, I'll watch for posts like this.
