In a controversial new study, researchers point to ancient cave paintings as proof that people who lived nearly 40,000 years ago had advanced knowledge of astronomy. If true, this theory would dramatically change the timeline of humanity’s understanding of the natural world.
This study is claiming the constellations have been in use as a way of dating things for tens of thousands of years. If this is true, we will be able to date the pyramid of giza, the sphinx, stonehedge, all of it using this technique, which some have already done on the sphinx. The study claims it has proven this at an overwhelming statistical significance.
