Typex Mark 23
British TYPEX was adopted version of the Enigma with the several important progressive changes. The high security & complexity meant which is the message traffic of the machine never was broken, unlike German cipher machine Enigma. An estimated 12,000 Typex machines was used in United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand until the 1970's.
Best examples of Typex cipher machines can be found in the museum of Bletchley Park United Kingdom. Above image shows a typical Typex Mark 23 which was used during World War ll. It is an adaption of the standard Typex Mark II and Mark 22, & it was used for many years after the world war was over.
