The Hebern Rotor Machine was the major innovation leap of cypher tech and it was also the first electrical circuit type which was used in the cipher machines. Despite it was failure to gain the market acceptance, and it have far reaching significance in World War II & beyond. Unfortunately, the enigmatic inventor sir, Edward Hebern, would never be recognized or rewarded in his entire life
In the late 1908 Edward was in jail for the crime of stealing horse. He claim this gave him time to come up with the several cipher related inventions, which he would patented, starting 1912. 1917 he came up with the brilliant idea to had an electric rotor scramble the type of alphabet & made his first prototype cipher machine. In 1918 & 1919, three inventors in the Europe devised that the same concept, with Arthur Scherbius, inventor of infamous German ENIGMA machine.
