Trolleybus in kathmandu

Kathmandu's trolleybus system opened on 28 December 1975. It was a gift from China. The route was 13 km long and the number of trolleybuses was 32, model Shanghai SK541. It closed on 19 December 2001 but part of the route was reinstated on 1 September 2003. It's operations ended in November 2008 and in November 2009 the system was officially closed.
