Another thing they were most probably wrong about is the sounds they were probably making. Dinosaurs most probably couldn't growl, likely hissed to show aggression and were maybe able to produce a low-pitched grumbling sounds with closed mouths. We can infer that from what their closest living relatives (birds and crocodiles) can and cannot do today and if it has evolved after the dinosaurs had been long gone.
